Stayed at Bica Boa for 3 nights over Easter 06. Nice rooms, good food, a nice setting in a decent little town - and overall a sense of calm & peace right thru the place. Susia Cassidy, the manager, runs the place very well & the dog will have had her pups now so maybe there will be pups to... more

My wife and I spent ten nights at Bica Boa and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The accomodation was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent - good quality and large helpings. The owner - Susan lives on the premises and is around and available to give advice on the area. This little guest house and restaurant is about 0.5 km outside town on the Lisbon road. It's a quiet location, but off-road parking is limited. As well as the bar-restaurant, there's are outside patios to the front and side which are pleasant places to enjoy a drink or even meals in warmer seasons.
