This is an old property (Arabic style) but it is quaint and rustic in a charming way. The outside is deceptive. We were a little worried when we pulled up. No on site parking, but there is a nearby free community parking lot. Sometimes it is full, so we had to park for free on the street a couple of... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Casa da Moura in July. Our room was on the first floor with a separate bedroom and french doors that opened onto the patio. The room was very comfortable and had a small kitchen to keep water cool and make a tea at night. The patio was very nice and the pool was beautiful. The... More

Stayed two nights and required an extra bed for our adult daughter. This made the area a little cramped but we were not in the room that much. As mentioned in other reviews there were nice touches with the water bottles provided at the front door and wine and fruit on arrival. Staff were friendly and helpful when we checked... More

We stayed for 3 nights at Casa Da Moura in a ground floor studio facing the street. I will start with the positives. The breakfast was AMAZING – definitely one of the best breakfast spreads I have ever had it includes: cheeses, meats, breads, croissants, pastries & desserts, wide variety of fruits and jams and made to order eggs, sausage... Stayed here for one week July 2015. The hotel is located in the old town Lagos which we really liked, short walk to the centre, more character than the new build area at the harbor end of town. At first we were a little disappointed as we had no balcony, however the next day the receptionist said we could move... More

Family holiday time... Two 20 odd year old boys. What could be better than a couple of apartments right in the heart of old Lagos. Ok, so a 10 minute stroll from the centre, but once your back at the Casa you are very glad of the pool, the high ceilings, the aircon and the utter peace and quiet. Moroccan... More

We were uneasy about Casa da Moura because the room rates seemed too low for a nice hotel. To our delight, it turned out to be a delightful stay and a great value. Our room was larger than expected - a suite with sitting area and dining area as well as a bedroom and charming tiled bath with Moroccan décor.... More

Beautiful hotel in the historic center of Lagos. Great location, good breakfast, large and comfortable rooms with a small kitchen. Nice chill out area with pool and sunlounger. I can definitely recommend it.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious, with a little kitchenette/ coffe maker in each room, very charming design. Could have been a notch cleaner. Loved the generous breakfast. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Downtown Lagos is just a few minute walk, parking was no problem ant the nearby public lot. We truly enjoyed our stay.

I agree with almost everything I've read in these positive reviews. Great breakfast, lovely staff, quiet location, very authentic Moorish feeling to the place. Their beds suited us and we both have back issues. The beds were firm. Their hard furnishings and Moroccan accessories are quite authentic and in good condition. However, I'd like to suggest, in the interest of... More
