The rooms were comfortable and spacious, with a little kitchenette/ coffe maker in each room, very charming design. Could have been a notch cleaner. Loved the generous breakfast. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Downtown Lagos is just a few minute walk, parking was no problem ant the nearby public lot. We truly enjoyed our stay.

I agree with almost everything I've read in these positive reviews. Great breakfast, lovely staff, quiet location, very authentic Moorish feeling to the place. Their beds suited us and we both have back issues. The beds were firm. Their hard furnishings and Moroccan accessories are quite authentic and in good condition. However, I'd like to suggest, in the interest of... More

We stayed at Casa da Moura for eight nights in December 2013 and we loved it! Our room was rather an apartment and we had direct access to the small garden. Even though there were only few other guests, the breakfast was really something we were looking forward to every morning. The only thing which could have been better were... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. I had a one bedroom apartment which was spacious and comfortable, attractively decorated in Moroccan style, and opened out onto the patio. Felt private as this was rarely used, but might have been more intrusive in the summer. Hot weather for October but didn't need the air conditioning. It in a quiet area, next... More

Currently we are staying at Casa Da Mauro which is situated within the fortress walls, remnants of old Medieval times. We planned to go for 2 weeks to Portugal, one week Lagos and one week Lisbon but we decided to stay 2 nights more at Casa Da Mauro. The environment is fantastic. Actually and this is indeed a bit tricky,... More

Casa da Moura is an unusual 'hotel' and a great place to stay if you are in Lagos for just a couple of days or a week. The house is fairly small (only 8 bedrooms) so it's quiet and almost feels like you are staying in your own, quaint holiday home. The staff are so friendly and efficient and there... More

Stayed at Casa da Moura with my 2 sisters for a 3 day stay - absolutely wonderful place. Quiet, rooms were spacious, bathrooms big and full shower. Beds were comfortable, a/c worked fine. Little kitchenettes in each room with a small table. A pool out back. A beautiful roof deck for evening cocktails. The breakfast was plentiful and had lots... More

My wife and I recently stayed 5 nights at Casa de Moura. It looks rather nondescript from the outside but once inside you feel like you are in your own little private retreat. The accommodation is spacious, clean and cool (it's air conditioned), beds are comfortable and location is perfect - inside the wall - about a 10 minute walk... More

I was upset when we arrived. Despite sending an e-mail that morning advising of our arrival time and receiving a confirmation back from them, there was no one there when we showed up. There was a paper with a phone number taped to the door, but my phone is not international, so I had to leave my wife with the... More

Fantastic place - real boutique style hotel. Very stylish interiors, large rooms, spectacular view from the rooftop restaurant, friendly and helpful staff and reasonable prices. Free public parking is at 50m distance. Hotel is situated in the higher part oа old part of Lagos - just near the fortress walls. Wifi router upstairs was somewhat buggy but at least could... More
