We were overall not impressed, but felt so sympathetic toward the poor woman who appears to be the only person running this place, we have to give her credit for doing her job. The place could be attractive, but is in poor repair. Lights were missing bulbs and lanterns had burned out candles in them. The rooms were so dark... More

Spent 8 nights in this tranquil hotel/B&B.It is in a quiet area of the old town, with free parking in the adjacent square (most of the time). We were offered a move after the first night to a larger apartment overlooking the pool. Really very nice and large with authentic feeling decor, but our first room was more than adequate.... More

This place was a huge disappointment! Dirty, unattended, and way too expensive for the shabby, outdated rooms. Even though we had confirmed twice about our arrival time there was only a teenager present who did not speak English. We ended up not staying there, even though they charged us for one night!

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area. Yet it takes only 7-8 minutes to go down to the center of the city where restaurants and bars are. I and my wife stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. They did a nice job of converting the old house to a Moroccan themed inn. Since it's in the middle... More

Stayed for 3 nights in September. On arrival, we were told that they had no record of our booking. I had booked directly to the hotel via email, so I have no idea how this could have happened. After a chaotic check in process where we waited for half an hour to discover whether they had a vacancy or not,... More

This is an old property (Arabic style) but it is quaint and rustic in a charming way. The outside is deceptive. We were a little worried when we pulled up. No on site parking, but there is a nearby free community parking lot. Sometimes it is full, so we had to park for free on the street a couple of... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Casa da Moura in July. Our room was on the first floor with a separate bedroom and french doors that opened onto the patio. The room was very comfortable and had a small kitchen to keep water cool and make a tea at night. The patio was very nice and the pool was beautiful. The... More

Stayed two nights and required an extra bed for our adult daughter. This made the area a little cramped but we were not in the room that much. As mentioned in other reviews there were nice touches with the water bottles provided at the front door and wine and fruit on arrival. Staff were friendly and helpful when we checked... More

We stayed for 3 nights at Casa Da Moura in a ground floor studio facing the street. I will start with the positives. The breakfast was AMAZING – definitely one of the best breakfast spreads I have ever had it includes: cheeses, meats, breads, croissants, pastries & desserts, wide variety of fruits and jams and made to order eggs, sausage... Stayed here for one week July 2015. The hotel is located in the old town Lagos which we really liked, short walk to the centre, more character than the new build area at the harbor end of town. At first we were a little disappointed as we had no balcony, however the next day the receptionist said we could move... More
