We were both looking forward to our trip to Lagos, and our apartment was somewhere to lay our heads at night but it far exceeded our expectations. We stayed for 6 nights at Ancora. The accommodation is lovely, small blocks of 5 or 6 bungalows that are very private even though you are attached to the next one. I really liked my stay at the Ancora. Check in and out were quite smooth and even though we arrived at 11.30am instead of after 2 for check in, we were still allowed check in. My Husband and I stayed at the Motel Ancora in April 2007. The motel is 10 mins down hill walk to Lagos center, the cabs back cost only 3-4 euros!
