Although this place doesn't cost much, we were very disappointed by just how basic it was. On arriving we went to our shoe box room - just about enough room to walk round the 2 single beds. Opened the 'balcony' doors to be greeted by the main road and again, just about enough room for two chairs. And the fact... more

Hi just back from staying in the hotel. Clean rooms - basic but just what is required for a good nite's sleep. Location - close proximity to the Marina (2 mins), beach (5 mins), Lagos centre (10 mins) and easy to get to from the A22 motorway from Faro - free car park next door and at Marina. Many restaurants... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here earlier this month. We knew it was a relatively cheap option, which was fair enough, but within 2 minutes of having arrived, I realised our room only just about fitted the two single beds and not much else, the small balcony looked out onto a very busy and noisy main road (all day and... more

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and twice in 2007. Although a little dated the hotel is immaculately clean and the staff welcome you as family. There is building work next door and in May it was noisy during the day when out around the pool but this month was much improved as the new apartments are... more

Have just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel and can find nothing bad to say about it or its staff. We were welcomed very warmly and given a choice of two rooms, one overlooking the pool (but also overlooked by an extensive building site), and one overlooking a fairly busy road. We chose the one at the... more

Stayed at this hotel for 7 days in May 2007,for the price we paid it was first rate value, staff are very hepful and friendly the place is well located and is extremely clean.Ask for a room at the rear overlooking the pool its a lot quieter than the front where a main road runs.Air con is great the only drawback... more

If it had not been for the rude welcome by our host, I would give this hotel 4 stars for the value. Very clean, decent proximity to town, in a quiet area, and extremely reasonable price (but remarkably horrrible coffee- it's true!). However, after examining our room and declaring our satisfaction, the owner proceeded to berate me for nearly 30... more

read the reviews on this site and booked the hotel as a result. the hotel is fine, based directly behind the marina, which gives a good starting point when you wish to head off to the town or to the beach. the hotel was nice, best described as homely. the staff were nice, friendly smiles and pretty good about answering... more

I dont know, maybe I was expecting too much after reading the reviews on here. The plus points were: the helpful and friendly staff proximity to marina short walk to town and to the beach. As suggested on this site I requested a room at the rear of the hotel as the road in front can be quite busy. This... more

We spent a fortnight at this little hotel which is a step away from the Marina, cross the road and cut through the Marina apartmets and you are there. Although on a busy road and a bit noisy there is tranquility whenever you enter the hotel. There is car parking right at the hotel which is great for Lagos. The staff... more
