The Carvi Hotel was wonderful. Its location could not be any better, with just a set of stairs between you and Dona Ana Beach, one of the most famous in Lagos. It's convenient to hike along to cliffs and see stunning views of the Atlantic and the beaches. The rooms were clean and had large balconies, and the breakfast was... More

We wanted to keep our holiday reasonably budget , as it wasn't planned just spur of the moment . We booked a very cheap flight with Ryan air for 70 euro return , was perfect . We booked a transfer cab with yellow fishtransfers they were the cheapest to Lagos and then also had a promo code so was discounted... More

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and it was just a wonderful stay. Location wise it cannot get any better with the beach (Dona Ana) within just walkable distance, hardly 2 minutes. The hotel can be reached by public transportation and there is also a road train that stops right in front of the beach. The Camelo beach and Ponta... More

We give this hotel a rating of 5 as my husband and myself had a lovely stay at this hotel. Nothing was too much bother for any of the staff and all were extremely friendly. we would like to give the male bar tender a special mention as he loved to sing and the music chosen at night was well... I rate Carvi a 5, purely on value for money. That's not to say the place is perfect. The Carvi is ideally located right by the beautiful beach. There is also a pub only 100m from Carvi that shows sports and serves good value meals with some nice healthy options. The walk from Carvi to town is a leisurely 15... More

The staff at the hotel were very friendly, with a special mention for Francisco the night porter. The rooms were clean and the breakfast a self-service continental style, with nice cooked meats, breads, coffee and fresh fruit. There was a rooftop pool which was a bit cool in September but I would imagine perfect in the summer. Two of us... More

This beach hotel is very close to the ocean and you should request a room with a sea view otherwise the back of the hotel is not a view at all. It’s a very plain hotel, but the staff are friendly. The only drawback with the room is the sand, and being a beach hotel I understand that can be... More

The best things about the hotel : location next to beautiful beach, in quiet residential area close to some good Portuguese restaurants (Paraiso and O Briol my favourites), the helpful and friendly reception staff, the roof top terrace (sadly underused during my visit in October) the cleanliness of the hotel - it was a joy to come back to our... First of all the staff are just excellent, happy, friendly and very helpful. We stayed in October as the season was winding down but at no time did we feel the staff lacking. So ten out of ten for them. We had a sea-view room (none of the rooms actually face the sea square on but the view was still... More

I will start by saying, the pictures are a lot better than the actual hotel, however it was good. The staff are friendly and helpful, one even recommended that their hotel transfers are 2 expensive..
