I went with my boyfriend for our first holiday and we had a fantastic time. We paid very little for the holiday and so we were extremely happy with the hotel. It is a minutes walk from the beautiful Dona Ana Beach which was just perfect. It was then a fifteen minute walk into town and about a 7 minute... More

The Carvi Hotel is just minutes away from the gorgeous Praia Dona Ana beach. The area is peaceful (or it was in early May) and there are some lovely cliff walks close by. Although not in the town centre, it is easily reached by bus, train or a 15 minutes walk. There is a rooftop pool and terrace with good... More

I have been there for 4 nights with my husband and we had a very nice stay. The receptionists are all very nice and they gave us lot of information. We had to leave very early in the morning before the breakfast opened. The receptionist said us that we could have a lunch packet and we did. Our room was... More

Minimal hot water pressure, minimal view of the sea from our seaside room balcony, minimal accommodation--the hotel was obviously the place of choice for college students on spring break, but we are not that. But, for one night we survived. More

Me and my Girlfriend (Both mid 20's) Stayed at the Carvi over the Easter Break. We had booked a late deal through Expedia and were expecting somewhere clean and basic. The Carvi was very clean and not as basic as feared. The only complaint we had was our balcony door lock was not functioning properly, when we pointed this out... More

Stayed at the Carvi Hotel and whilst the Hotel is only a 3 star it would be a 5 star for the friendly staff (especially Fabio), wonderful location, great walks and views. The beach is only 3 minutes away and was voted in the top 10 in Europe. Just look at the photos and see, amazing. There is a nice... More

Stayed at hotel Carvi during a summer trip to Portugal this past summer. Hotel is in a great location, on the beach and has nice accommodations. Rooms are clean but on the smaller side, but that’s typical of European hotels. It’s in a very quiet area of Lagos and within 15-20 minute walk to the center where all the restaurants... More

Booked this hotel thinking it would be a great hotel (judging from the photos) however when we arrived, having come from Portimao with a huuuuge hotel/apartment room, we were a little bit disappointed. The rooms were small and a little outdated & only one computer to use internet on and that didn't even work too well! Location was great though... More

This hotel is described being owned by Norman Bates and that the quality is there after. Well i visited the hotel in october 2011 and there was no Norman Bates or a bad vibe there. I got good attentive service and a imensive continental breakfast...And the beautiful beach of Dona Ana was 50 meters from the hotel. More
