this is overlooking the marina in lagos. you have a central base to explore some of the western Algarve. plenty to see and do. the hotel is clean friendly and staff are helpful. this is a lovely place to stay and I would go back. there is a pool and sun lounge terrace on the roof top with great views.

A return trip to this lovely hotel overlooking the Marina in Lagos to see the area in Spring was a welcome change from the weather at home. The hotel was as welcoming as ever and has maintained the high quality of cleanliness,decor and service that has become it's hallmark.

Second time staying at Marina Rio. Staff friendly and helpful, Marina view room spacious and clean. Easy walking distance to old town and restaurants. Cozy bar for after dinner drinks. Couldn't fault this hotel. We had a nice room with a terrace overlooking the harbour. It is spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and courteous. Breakfast just OK - but prices (at least when I stayed) were very reasonable.

Clean, good size rooms, decent views but street noises filter through, welcoming staff but crowded breakfast room ill adapted to the crowd. Quality of breakfast is average and no Wifi. Also, there is no restaurant so you have to walk half a Km to reach the centre.
