This spot was a last minute found, but we were extremely happy with our choice. Super calm, with amazing ocean view, we spent here unforgetable days in july. In full season here it was just perfectly peaceful and relaxing. Noone disturbs you and you feel completely on holiday top spirit of satisfaction from the place where you are. Room and... More

As all of the reviews note, Quinta da Nino is beautiful. We loved that we could walk along the water for 10 minutes and get to the nearby town of Burgau, which has very nice bars, restaurants and a beach. It is also possible to walk to Lagos, although it's about 14 kilometers between Burgau and Lagos. Driving through the... More

We stayed a Hilde's place for three nights. What a beautiful and amazing experience. The accommodations were great for the price, and Hilde is a great host -- providing a delicious breakfast, recommendations, and assistance with booking reservations for a day of sea kayaking. All in all highly recommended.

We stayed at Hilde's place for nine nights and it was absolutely recommendable to anyone who loves a private, relaxing and peaceful surrounding. Hilde has three bedrooms and we stayed in the smallest one. It really is quite small, but very cosy and clean, the bathroom is quite big and has a bathtub. In front of the cottage, you have... More

What an amazing place! I stayed in the Tower room, the view was fantastic and I had my own private balcony oasis to sit and drink some wine. The ground are lovely, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. So mush room to spread out in, and the bathroom was like a spa, fantastic shower! Location is also fabulous, I rented a... More

I found this based on reviews and was thrilled with our last local on our trip through Portugal. We stayed three nights in the private Tower Room with beautiful panoramic vies of the coast and a private romantic balcony Located walking distance to the small town of Burgau and a short 10 minute drive to Lagos. We loved the quiet... More

We enjoyed or stay with Hilde. We were in the Tower Room which is ideal with the terrace and the view over the garden and the sea. Breakfast was superb, only disappointment was that in March we were on our own

Perfectly located between Salema and Lagos, this B&B was exactly what we hoped it would be. We stayed in the Garden Room which was the perfect size for any couple traveling. It is run by friendly Hilde, who speaks fluent English, German & Portuguese (at least!) and offers guests access to her small but lovely pool and secret garden -... More

Hilde is a fantastic, very helpful and caring host. The rooms are nice with everything you need and the 10 minutes walk to the cosy and cute little village Burgao is fantastic. In Burgao you´ll find a great beach and some nice restaurants. Good breakfast, a nice little pool, a little forest of your own and stunning views just around... More

Having read the previous reviews it is difficult to add much to the praise already lavished on Hilde's amazing B&B. Suffice to say it lived up to all the complimentary views expressed. Sitting at breakfast and looking out on the view of pool, pine woods and sea we felt a little like Richard Branson must feel on one of his... More
