The rooms were lovely, modern & spacious. our mini fridge/air con worked fine. (had to adjust the air con to make it cold, reduce temp to 0c) showers were amazing! hairdryer/bathrobes/slippers/bottle of water ready for us when we got there! Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis to a high standard & towels replaced. We stayed by the top pool... More

Nice rooms in contempory style. The maids kept the rooms clean and tidy, but most days we were back in our room before the maids came to clean and make the bed late afternoon. The restaurant was dull and grey and reminiscent of a factory canteen. The breakfast was very good ranging from full English to fruit and cereals. The starter for the evening meal... After a long transfer from the airport ( nearly 2 hours, Thomson said 90 minutes) first impressions of this hotel were WOW! Very contemporary in style & design which we liked but not for all tastes. Reminded us of Coulthard's Dakota hotels in Scotland. Modular, lots of glass, chrome, marble & wood. Bedrooms are very roomy, beds are huge &... More

My husband and myself returned a week ago from a 2 week stay at the Yellow Lagos Hotel. It was a very relaxing holiday but the evening meal, drinks and entertainment were a let down. The Hotel is beautiful, the staff lovely and the quality of the housekeeping excellent. The breakfasts were great and we didn't have a problem with... More

I would like to say that this is a lovely hotel, beautiful large modern rooms which are kept very clean and all with a pleasant view. A bit out of town but wouldn't put me off visiting again. Also had very good Wi-Fi. A few issues that let this hotel down are: FOOD - Breakfast is perfect, lots of choice... More

The room overlooked the pool with sea views. Everything you could want for a clean, peaceful and comfortable space to stay in. At the Brown's restaurant we ate a Portuguese meal which was really good and worth trying.the main course for the evening meal was rather bland in the kitchen restaurant. We always found a space to lay on the... More

We stayed at the Yellow Meia between 21st June and 5th July. We had room 17 which was on the ground floor and overlooked the lower outside pool and the sea. The room was very clean and tidy and we had lovely views. We had problems with the fridge for the first couple of days, and complained to the reception... More

We had a lovely couples holiday. The hotel and Lagos were really nice. Location was ok. The room, view and pools were definitely 5 star. However, the restaurant, food and general service was no more than 3 star. It would not take much to improve the atmosphere in either the restaurant or the bar. Better lighter, plants, candles, pictures and... More

Lets get the negative things out of the way first. A lovely hotel, but one that hasn't let go of the 'Couples Only' label. We took care in choosing an 'Adults Only' hotel for a quiet holiday as friends with grown up 'children' and were assured that this hotel would suit our needs and WASN'T Couples Only. However, once there... More
