We stopped for a night at Casa Estoi at the end of our two week holiday in the Algarve. It was a fabulous experience from start to finish. The building is beautiful. Katrina our wonderful hostess could not do enough for us. The suite we stayed in was charming with its private staircase to the pool and two airconditioned clasically... More

We used this hotel as a stop gap prior to flying home from our family holiday in Portugal, and I'd have to say we were all impressed. It's a very interestingly situated hotel, with bucket loads of history, and a lovely pool area. The staff are extremely helpful and there is free wi-fi too ! It's a great base to... More

We stayed two nights in their apartment suite and had the time of our life. Katrina, the hotel manager was just like a family member who is hosting you and wants you to have a good time. After visiting places in that hot weather , we looked forward to go "home " sit by their pool and chat. It is... More

Stayed one night in this lovely old house. Very comfortable room with all necessary requirements. Welcomed by Caterina, the house manager, who gave us an escorted tour of the house still with 19th century furnishings. Enjoyable breakfast with fresh fruit and juices.

This hotel is simply delightful. It is an old restored family home full of beautiful antiques and in absolutely immaculate condition. We were greeted by Katerina who is very welcoming, very friendly and does everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. Our room and all the public areas were spotless and I think this is probably the most fragrant place... More

Nice little village setting. Very rural and full of character. 10 mins in a taxi to faro. Beautiful inside with large airy rooms, good bathrooms. Beautiful communal areas and pool. Only downside was our room was at the front and it was really noisy I slept really badly both nights we were there and my partner ended up sleeping on... More

A gorgeous place with many original pieces of furniture and areas to relax. The rooms are light and airy-delightful. The pool area is vey quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was good and taken in a lovely little courtyard off the pool. A shame they don't do evening meals. The only negative (if indeed it is)- parking is on the street but... More

A unique B&B in historic building in the heart of Estoi , a small town about half an hour drive from Faro. The location is right on the main square with eateries and shops immediately close by. The building is classically furnished in great taste. There is a sitting room for guests and a traditional covered courtyard, where breakfast is... More

Wonderful hotel, a bit quirky and very small, just 8 rooms, but an absolute joy, 10 minutes from Faro airport but a world away in the peaceful small town of Estoi. We took in the Palace hotel for a visit and found a great little Portugese restaurant just a few yards down the road at the back of the hotel.

I must say this hotel was beautiful, the main rooms were like a cystine chapel, the ambiance of the place was amazing. It was very understaffed though, which made you feel as though you were staying in faulty towers it was a 2 hour wait just for lunch !!! The staff were pleasant though just over worked
