Excellent situation, convenient for the old town and close to the market and supermarket. Very good resturant just across the road.  In fairness the breakfast options were a bit limited, but there are plenty of opportunities to top up nearby!  The room was serviced very well daily, Reception was helpful when we arrived 4 hours before check-in time. We have... more

Great hotel for a short stay in Faro. Don't expect wonders, but this is a delightful hotel with charm and character as well as decent rooms with great views at the back towards the sea. Rooms are dated and slightly worn but they have warm lime green coloured furnishings and lovely parquet flooring. There is a TV, ample storage, clean... more

Clean and adequate, Stayed in Room 302 at the front of the building the first night, which was a bit noisy. Asked to be moved the next day and this was done without any fuss. Room 303, on the other side of the corridor solved the problem. Male receptionist very pleasant and helpful. The female receptionist was not very approachable.... more

Our experience with this hotel was badly coloured by our initial encounter with the front desk staff: "surly" and "not particularly thrilled to see us" sum it up adequately. Most annoying was the fact that they refused to let us check into room, telling us we had to wait until 2pm or 2:30pm for the room to be "cleaned" (it... more

We booked this hotel through laterooms and got it at a bargain price, 98 euros for 2 nights incl buffet breakfast. The hotel looks much better in reality than in the photos. We were able to check in at 9.50am, even though check in is at 2pm, which we were really thankful for. Nice sized room. 10 minute walk to... more

Ok hotel in close walking distance to the marina, train station and bus station. Room was ok, but the bedding was a little old and hard. I asked for a softer pillow but they didn't have any. As with a lot of hotels the phone was very expensive. I made four local calls lasting just a few minutes and the... more

Stayed here 21/4/08 for one night. Room 301. Paid 48.75 Euro prpn including breakfast. Booked through Venere. We used this just for a practical overnight stop prior to flying home from Faro, and it was suitable for that purpose. It is located on a nondescript main road at the ‘back’ of the city, but is only about 10 minutes walk... more

Stayed here for my last night in the Algarve. The hotel was ideal in the centre of Faro about 8 mins walk from the Marina and the Historic part of the City. Large bedroom and bathroom Clean and fresh. No kettles but this is the standard in Portugal but you can get one from the reception. The only meal available... more
