I really don't want to give this place a poor review but I feel I need to warn my fellow travelers that this place have bed bugs in room 103. The staff is very friendly and helpful but he just can't clean the whole place by himself. My girlfriend got many bites after sleeping on the bed! I slept on... More

It is VERY busy, and most people stay only one night. We stayed three, and on the first night, a young man woke me up to ask 'if I was having a laugh', because I was in his bed! I told him I had been given it by the staff and he wandered off grumbling, but he had already woken... More

I had my bags packed to leave early morning. I slept in a dorm in a bunk bed. There was no place to store your luggage safely so i put mine on the bed below me and slept on the top bed. The next morning all my luggage was gone! The staff told me it was stolen by someone climbing... More

Made a stop at Faro on my way to Lisbon from Seville. It was Sunday and the moment I stepped out of the bus station, I knew I do not want to drag my luggage anywhere far... not even for more than 5 mins away from the bus station! Location: GREAT! 2 mins away from the bus station and Train... More

Reading the other reviews I can see the point of them all but in this type of place - with such limited facilities, at such cheap prices then if things go wrong they are likely to go very wrong. The bathrooms were pokey but clean, the terrace was awful and the staff were strange. But, I don't think many people... More

We planned a long weekend in Faro and since we wanted to experience the town's athmosphere and Faro Lounge seemed pretty central, we booked it. Mistake. Our plane arrived at 13.00, we quickly got to the hostel, where they made us wait until 15.00 (check-in time). After paying for the double room and the breakfast tat was according to the... More
