I've never seen the point of paying a vast premium for a luxury hotel when you can pay half the price for just as comfortable a sleep, just without the chocolates on your pillow. We spent in Sao Filipe 14 days. The guest house is situated 10 min. walk from citycentre in the quiet place. Room was small but clean. Airconditioning and TV were available in the room.
