I spent 1 week here with my mother and we loved it!! We were looking for somewhere quiet to stay that was near good beaches etc and that is what we got! Carvoeiro is a good town with just enough going on and wasn't commercialized!! The beaches we enjoyed the most were caneiros and marinha! I agree with aonther post... more

1st time in Portugal, couldn't have been better. We did not know what to expect but this complex was delightful, immaculate and nothing too much trouble. Would recommend and certainly look forward to returning. more

Just come back from Colina Da Lapa, our second visit (first one 2 years ago) and had a great time. Good to see that excellent standards are still maintained. We have just returned from this holiday complex.Although it is individual Villas and Apartments it is actually run as a hotel so you get a maid everyday except Sunday, making your bed, taking out rubbish etc. Great if you have a lazy teenage boy who can't make a bed to save his life.
