We stayed in a deluxe one bedroomed apartment with a sea view. It was, by far, the nicest apartment we have ever stayed in. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need. It had books, dvd's tennis rackets etc just like a home from home. Sadly, although we've stayed here many times before, we will not be doing so again. The excellent restaurant "O Farol" and the friendly and efficient cleaning staff are not enough to make up for the lack of maintenance and the general air of dilapidation that is now the norm here.
