Just returned from a 10 day break which was nice and relaxing especially as the weather was fantastic. The hotel is clean and evidently well maintained but is in need of updating; the decor in throughout the hotel is tired and dated. The pool area is perfect for sun worshippers as it gets sun all day long. The main pool... more

The interior of the Hotel is shabby in many places and needs a major refurb .The rooms are large but basic with some stains on the carpets ,the decor dated although comfortable and very clean. The pool areas ,dining room and bars are pleasant and all of the staff very nice and friendly and attentive. The food was ok , limited but... more

We have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions - see previous review for our stay in September 2006. The hotel is starting to show its age and whilst the bedrooms are nice and roomy they will need a refurbishment in the near future. For those wanting to keep in touch with home the TV includes BBC1 and... more

We stayed here for a week and found it to be well worth the money. The hotel was very clean in all areas. There was a good choice of food for breakfast. We stayed half board and because the hotel was quiet we ate in the smaller restaurant with waiter service rather than buffet style in the larger restaurant. They... more

The hotel was easy to find (Though opposite a large Irish pub and African cafe which were closed when we arrived but looked as though they could be quite noisy in season) and at first impression was that the lobby area seems clean though not so inviting, cold and sparse. But if sparse is the cost of being clean I'm... more

Stayed here for the second time this year. Absolutely fine. Great location at the top of the strip with access to restaurants and bars. We were here to play golf and so didnt spend too much time in the hotel, but the rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was fine, well presented and plenty of choice. The pool area... more

Just arrived back from a week at the Hotel Montechoro. Nice hotel but could do with a bit of TLC. Good large clean rooms with plenty of storage space. Nice pool area with plenty of sun beds. Food quite acceptable.Nice location. Walking distance to the beach. Downhill going, uphill on the way back. Free transport every hour to the beach... more

Not a bad hotel....good enough location right at the top of the strip - though the strip can get a bit annoying after a while so i'd definitely recommend a trip out to the old town which is a short taxi ride away. The hotel is like everyone says in need of a refurb inside. It is carpeted which does... more

My Wife and I stayed at this hotel for seven nights on a B & B package booked through 'Go Travel' advertised in the Manchester Evening News. Karen the agent I booked through was brilliant from the start, very friendly and informative, the whole proceedure of booking and paying for the holiday was sorted within minutes. The actual holiday itself... more
