Myself, my husband and 2 young children have just returned from a week at the paraiso. I would definatly recommed this hotel, especially if you have children. The food was of wide choice and always nice, the pool and entertainment was excellent. the rooms themselves cud do with upgrading but they were very spacious and clean. We will definatly be... more

We booked this two week holiday on a bit of a whim, as we had gone to Thomas Cook just for some brochures. But after the sales person had said she had visited the hotel, and loved it, thats all we needed. When we got back home, we had read a few mixed reviews on this website about the hotel,... more

This is our 2nd All inclusive so I will be partly comparing this hotel with the one in Alcudia last year. LOCATION 7/10 Took about 3/4 hour from airport to get there. Good location generally as midway between 'The Strip' and the Old Town I think its a bit too far to walk though, but a 3.50 euro taxi gets... more

Enjoyed a two weeks stay July 3rd-17th, 2008 with my wife and three young children aged 2-4 and 7. Had a wonderful time in a very spacious two bedroom apartment, everything very clean and helpful staff. On arrival, everything worked fine, and during our stay, we did not have a single complaint. Our room was stationed at the end of... more

This is definately not a 4 star more like a poor 2 star, in 30 years of travelling abroad this is the most unappertising & unappealing food we have come across, the hotel staff were ignorant, unfriendly but the entertainment reps were excellent, take a sleeping bag because the beds and pillars are a joke, we also had a visitor... more

this is my first review of a hotel as normally we stay at first class 4 or 5 star standard accomodation when we go on holiday and have no problems however this hotel is certaintly not 4 star the positives were the location - half way between the old town and the 'strip', reception looks very presentable and clean ,... more

Went with my boyfriend in October and I was pretty nervous as it was my first holiday but I was fine as soon as we arrived at the hotel! We stayed for a week and it was absolutely amazing. We have racked our brains thinking of things we disliked about it and can honestly say the only thing we can... more

Biggest supermarket in the Algarve 2 min walk from the hotal called the Modelo. Going left from the hotel takes you to the old town and right takes you to the strip. The old... more
