Pictures look lovely, but when we got to our room it was very dated and in need of a decoration. We overlooked the car park so not very good. Entertainment was for the locals. You pay extras for everything, in room and by the pool. About a 15 min walk to the strip.

Looking at the photos of this hotel we couldnt wait to arrive, it looks classy, elegant and stunnimg. when we got there we realised the photos had clearly beenm taken years ago and the place was dated and in desperate need of a refurb. Our first floor room had a view of the receptions roof which we could have walked... More

We were booked here for a large gathering. The Apartments were comfortable, a little dated and tired but clean. The all inclusive deal was ok. The food was basic and became a bit boring towards the end of our trip. The entertainment was clearly for the Portuguese as they came in swarms monopolising the dance floor most nights. Having said... More

this is a large hotel, and as others have said it does look a bit tired and could do with some updating. However, it was spotlessly clean and was perfect for us. The apartments are huge (request a pool view room or you will end up looking at a car park). The food was OK, the breakfasts are good with... More

I have just returned from what should have been 5 nights at this unpleasant hotel. I say should have been as we checked out after 3 and saved our diminishing senses of humour. The rooms are dark, old fashioned and depressing. The food is average, although the hotel is catering for hundreds of people who clearly like their food! The... More

Spent just under 2 weeks at the Paraiso, taking up two self catering apartments. Generally clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel could do with a general tidy and redecorate however, possibly starting to show it's age. Little things really like some tiles around the pool need replacing, there was some small holes in one of the curtains, little things... More

Stayed here 1st -4th April,s/c rooms need updated, rooms are dark and dreary, reception and public areas are so much different to the rooms for s/c,sunloungers are rock hard unless you are a/I whereby you can get a mattress,(,everyone should get a mattress) entertainment seems to be geared towards Portuguese, music and singing in Portuguese with disregard for British holidaymakers,a nightly influx of... This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. "Upgraded" to All Inclusive only to end up eating out as the food was terrible. My 7 year old granddaughter consumed a piece of chicken which was raw inside. We were very concerned when we realised, and reported it to the manager on duty, he shrugged his shoulders and couldn't... More

Stayed here with my husband from 4th April - 8th April B & B. Very large reception with very nice receptionists. We had a Classic Studio apartment which was quite big with twin beds and large wardrobe and plenty of drawer space, small balcony facing the road but never sat out as it was freezing cold in the evenings. Large... More
