Just back from 7 days at the Balaia Plaza with our 2 children aged 9 & 5. We felt that this was a good clean hotel was well equipped and has larger than average apartments - balcony was huge. We did have to wait 3 hours for our room but had an early outward flight - on the flip side... more

I stayed here for a week in August first impressions were good nice building with nice big rooms, though the view from the balcony was full of building sites building new hotels next door to the hotel, so wasnt the best view . The Appartment itself was nice and spacious but there wasnt anywhere to store all my clothes etc... more

We arrived at the hotel at about 10.30pm so were tired and hungary, we asked if it was possible to get some water and something to eat at this time of night, the receptionist who wasn't over friendly said we could get water from the bar. We went to the restaurant to sit down and the waitress said they had... more

Travelled back here for a week in mid June, wanted a quick cheap week in the sun to recharge, and it is exactly that. Rooms are very spacious, and it was handy to have one with a 'double' balcony. We were facing the road, which does seem to be somewhat busier than the last time we were here, and there... more

We stayed at the Balaia Plaza for one week at the end of May. The weather was kind to us and we only had one day where it rained in the morning. The accomodation cannot be faulted. The apartments are huge, spotless and have everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is large and well stocked with fridge/freezer, microwave,... more

I read many reviews before I left and like most decided to try for myself. As mentioned the apartments were huge but could have done with more drawer space. With two teenagers and lots of clothes the apt seemed smaller. There was a definite lack of sunbeds particularly during the local holidays. The apts were a good 30 mins walk from the main strip... more

I'll start by saying that this hotel is somewhere that certain types of people will like; families especially. For everyone else, be warned, it's a heck of a long way from civilisation. First impressions are good. It's fairly clean and bright in reception, glass lifts take you to all four floors, and the rooms are pretty massive. We had one... more

We stayed at the hotel for 1 week at the end of July. The hotel is suppossed to be 4 star but it definately does not have four star qualities. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. However, the beds are uncomfortable with small pillows. The bathroom lighting is really dark and could do with being updated and cleaned... more

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and two teenage daughters and have to say that it one of the best holidays we have had. I can't think of anything really bad to say about the resort or the hotel it was a really good place to visit. I'll try to break it down a bit to help everyone... more

We arrived back last Thursay, and i have seen the pictures of our holiday and it makes me feel gutted to be home! I must admit the location was not the best- especially when you are walking in flip flops for the first time this year! The first week we found it was easy to get a taxi, but because... more
