I visit Portugal 4-5 times a year and have stayed in the Vila Petra on numerous occasions.Make no mistake, this is the best hotel in the area. the swimming pool redeemed this place we were given this as our hotel not ready! if you stay in main building it alot cleaner! showed a maid the cobwebs in our room and they stayed whole holiday!!! also cup ring marks on bedroom furniture and rust on cutlery!!! very stingy with the toilet roll too! sounds like being very moany... more

Friendly helpfull staff. Clean. Maid service every day. The apartments have a very well equipped kitchen. Lovely pool, plenty of sun loungers and shade when required (It was very hot whilst we were there). Useful little shop attached to hotel selling fresh rolls and crossaints each day. Laundry room came in handy half way through holiday. Would definately recommend this... more

Just returned from our 1 week stay at this lovely hotel.Our room was very spacious with a double bedroom and 2 couches in the living area for the kids.The kitchen is well equipped and there was maid service every day. We stayed here from June 6th - June 13th. Our room was brilliant, lovely bathroom with shower, brand new Ikea style kitchen with dishwasher. Very clean with maid service each day of our stay.
