My partner and I arrived at the Almar very late at night. On entering our apartment we were very disappointed although a very good size and with a lovely view, it was in dire need of refurbishment. All the fixtures and fittings were very old and worn out and the shower was more like a garden hose. The inside base... more

We arrived at Almar, October 1th, and we disliked that place. The room was very small and it had no air conditioned. The room was near the reception and the noise was terrible. The room was dirty and the bathroom a nightmare. more

Just returned from Albufeira. Stayed in Almar Apartments in centre town of Albufeira. Good Location near to old town and far enough away from the strip. Staff in the hotel very nice and helpful although it must have been the only place were you could not see the world cup. Lovely pool and very quiet so no problem getting a... more

My Wife and i enjoyed staying at the Almar so much we are going back for a second time in September, The Staff are friendly and helpfull and the apts are clean the view from the balcony overlooks the sea the beach is a 5 minute walk down steps which are steep but safe the location is reason we are... more
