We just got back from staying at the Alfagar. I think we were in one of the apartments that has yet to be renovated. It was basic, and not particularly comfortable. The floor tiles were badly cracked throughout, which is really dangerous if you're in bare feet and the bathroom was moldy! We paid quite a lot to stay here... more

Just returned from Alfagar Apartments - our fifth visit to Portugal but definitely the best apartment complex that we stayed in. Pity about the weather there though (which no-one could help) but really enjoyed our stay. Staff in reception, restuarant, bar & kids club all really friendly. more
