very shabby apartments need complete refurb plus would have been washing machine and sky tv but you could only watch about 30 mins of tv before it lost picture . location was nice and quiet the pool was to small for the amount of apartments and the sun beds rock hard however you could hire shabby cushions for 2 euro... more

We have 2 young boys who really enjoyed this holiday. Whilst the appratment was not a high specification it was very clean and the pool which was very clean was great for the 2 boys who cannot yet swim. There was a paddling pool which they thoroughly enjoyed and the main swimming pool had a kids ara that was divided... more

When we first arrived at the villa alba we were rather dissapointed as we requested a ground floor apartment but got placed on the top story, even though it had a big balcony it was inconvienient to get to the pool as you have to walk all the way round . The apartments were very clean and big and the... more

We'd been changed to Villa Alba by Thomsons when they cancelled their contract with Varandas de Albufeira, who we'd originally booked a S/C studio appartment, so when we got to Villa Alba and found we'd been given a HUGE 2 bedroom appartment we were overjoyed!! Fully fitted kitchen with full size fridge/freezer, proper electric cooker and a washing machine!! Both... more

I went on Holiday with my Boyfriend and his family there were 7 of us all together 2 women and 4 men. The people were very friendly at first but if you complained about anything they became very defensive, the pool was absalutely filthy apart from our last day as an inspector came out and told them to clean it.... more

Stayed at the villa alba 26 sept til 6th oct home today and loved it. The apartments are huge well equipped a washing machine is great when you have a 18 month old. Pool lovely but too cold. It is a residential area but did not bother us. We had a apartment that back onto waste land and it was... more

There were 2 of us in a two bedroomed apartment and there was plenty of space, wardrobes have built in hangers, loads of room for clothes, security box was in wardrobe and cost 30 euro but got 15 back when checked out. little dressing table... more

Villa Alba is a favourite of ours and we have been there about 6 or 7 times, most recently in September of this year. The great thing about it is that it is close enough to all the action (a 5 minute walk to the top of the strip) but far enough away so that you get a good night's... more

Just back after a 2 week stay at the apartments. Apartments were very clean and spacious. No entertainment at night, swimming pool area enclosed within the apartment blocks with the gates closing around 8pm. pool area situated amongst well kept landscaped gardens. Pros and cons, anyone with young families can have a quiet retreat at the apartment, anyone looking for... more

Very quiet apartments as surounded by residential apartment blocks. They are 10 minutes walk from the strip of bars and restaurants, 25 mins to beach and 45 minutes walk to the old town (nicer restaurants and generally older holiday makers). We were impressed with the clean, spacious apartments which were well equiped and had huge balconies or terraces. The only... more
