Enjoyed our week at this hotel, nice pine tree surroundings and pleasent hotel grounds, but if you want a beach holiday forget it.The indoor and outdoor pools were excelent. Every were was very clean.Food was fine, but the evening main courses could stand some improvment. Bar drinks were pricy but what you would expect at a 4 star hotel. we never... more

Having spent the last 10 years at a former Gold Hotel in Corfu and sadly watched its demise, we decided to try somewhere completely new to us. And what a good choice we made. The Falesia is a lovely hotel, very clean, friendly staff, helpful staff from the cleaners to the management. The rooms were fine, basic but clean and... more

Have just spent a week at the Falesia with my partner, our fourth stay at a Thomson Gold hotel but our first visit to the Falesia. As you'd expect, it has all the hallmarks of a "Gold" hotel - no kids, huge buffet meals, entertainment. The location isn't brilliant but I'd recommend going on the guided walk through the Sheraton... more

An amazingly clean friedly hotel made very relaxing by the total absence of children. (Although we love 'em but not on holiday). Location is quite but everything you need is within easy reach. The four young Thomson Gold entertainment team members were otstanding, profesional and friendly. Their warm interaction with the guests made everyone feel special. We must go back... more

Just returned from our 2nd stay to this hotel this year but this time for 2 weeks in a 'superior' room. As before the hotel continues to offer an excellent standard in it's restaurant both for breakfast and evening meals. The first course buffet in the evenings still offers an excellent choice of cold dishes. However, the main course offerings... more

Nice hotel with very friendly staff and good reps in resort. Our main criticism would be the location of the hotel it being far away from the beach, although the hotel gardens and pool were very relaxing there being no children. Food was okay but we found on the theme evenings there was very little to choose if you didn't... more

This hotel is superb, clean, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for anyone their. The "Nature" Spa had just opened whilst we were their, we were the very first customers, my husband booked in the first massage which was free to his surprise. this being because he was the first customer, we liked it so much we used their... more

We stayed at the Falesia for one week, returning to Portugal after about 25 years. It is exclusively a Thomson Gold hotel which pretty much matched the brochure. It has a pleasant if small reception area, which leads into a fairly roomy bar area for the evening entertainment and a separate room with a large screen for football/cricket matches. The... more

Lovely hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff - cleanliness superb but if you want to play tennis it will cost E7.50 per hour on a very poor court ! and if you need an empty fridge it will cost E25 per week ! both extra costs not pointed out in the Thomson brochure. more

Just returned from hotel falesia, and have had a lovely week. Staff very helpful. Food good and varied. Situated in a quiet resort but with some good restaurants, a few supermarkets, and gift shops.Hotel has a regular shuttle bus to villamoura and albufuera, and the local bus is easy to get. more
