When you drive through the narrow entrance to Marvão, the first "square" you come to is the main square. The "Varanda Do Alentejo" is right next to it. This is a restaurant with rooms in Mervao, which is the highest town in Portugal. Mervao is wonderful. Shame about the Veranda.
