Nice smaller hotel right on THE main tourist drag in Evora. Very central for easy walking to the local sites. The barrel vaulted brick ceiling in our room provided a nice feeling of history. Our room was very clean and housekeeping did a nice job. The sofa and bedspread were a bit grungy and tired. We had a triple room... More

Advertised as a three star, but after a couple nights here, it's location, the cleanliness, service, quality of linens ... Getting close to being a four star. We would stay here again. Two very good restraunts nearby, momentous, and Patio. The main attractions as within walking distance , as well as some good shopping. They do have parking, while not... More

Quirky room with a barrel vault roof and only a small window, but very acceptable. Good breakfast. Have to go to the lounge for wifi access. Located on pedestrian-only street and very limited parking 200m up the road beside the roman temple - reserve the hotel parking if you can. Very central, no more than 15 minutes walk from anywhere... Great little hotel on the main street. Great value for money, but needs a little money spending on it. Hotel entrance is lovely, with traditional tiling but smelt musty and the settee on show was shabby and made me feel 'oh no what are we in for...' Bathrooms (we saw a couple of them) had black in grouting and mould... More

Charming little hotel in city center. Easy walking throughout walled city. Parking just up the street. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Quiet hotel in quiet city. Great break from the crowds.Good value for the location and medieval room. A step back in time. Breakfast included.

Great location just about a half a block from the main square. Step out onto the pedestrian lane lined with shops. We parked outside the town wall and it was an easy maybe 10 minute walk. The staff were super nice and the man at the front desk showed us to our room and showed us where breakfast would be... More

On a side street 1/2 block from the Cathedral, Temple of Diana, and Evola Museum. Parking was free next to the cathedral. The hotel does not have a lift so beware if you have large pieces of luggage. Staff was very help full but sometimes nowhere to be found. Breakfast was good and included with the room.

Superb location! Fantastically friendly stuff. They even allowed us to use their private kitchen to prepare our small dinner. Rooms have medieval ceilings (my wife said it was like sleeping in a chapel- she did not like it). The building is on the foundation of Roman time!

We thoroughly enjoyed the décor and the ambience of this well situated hotel in the heart of Evora. Our room was comfortable, clean and overlooked one of the main shopping streets (no vehicles permitted) in the old city. Noise was not an issue, we appreciated the convenience of stepping out the door and immediately being able to enjoy the city.... More

Stayed here in the Summer - had a nice room overlooking the quite 'main' street to the Cathedral and Roman ruins. Very good location. Nice town to spend a few days checking out the sites. Friendly staff run this hotel. Breakfast was not so good: not much to choose from served in a back room.
