What a lovely old hotel! Friendly staff, great view and with beautiful old furniture, a perfect hotel to stay and so close to all the sites. We had two rooms and both were clean and with great bathrooms, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very nice too with plenty of choice.

The building is historic and rooms are atmospheric and nice. Beds are comfy and the breakfast is good. The staff is generally friendly. Wifi only works at the reception desk, breakfast room and TV room. The staff does not tell you that even when asked. My friend, who booked the rooms, didn't prebook breakfast by mistake. We made a deal... More

I was staying at the hotel visiting a old friend. The view from the room overlooked the tiny landscape of the town which was very eye pleasing. The room itself was extremely spacious and the the bed was very comfortable. It seemed like the hotel was renovated recently but the hotel still carried a old world charm which was very satisfying.... More

Perfect location in the heart of the old city, full of character as you'd expect from a converted 16th century mansion. Clean, comfortable and very welcoming staff. Breakfast on the terrace should not be missed! Tricky to find if you're arriving after dark by car through the maze of narrow one-way streets, but absolutely worth the effort. It is signposted... The best thing about this hotel is location, because you can walk from here everywhere by foot. The hotel doesnt have it's own restautant, also wi-fi didnt work in our room. There is car parking near hotel but you have to pay.

This 16th century home converted to a hotel is in a great location and was very comfortable. The breakfast is worth doing, as it had a variety of fruits, juice, pastries, and more. The negatives were that we had to change our room (which was fine) but the new room had some minor issues that could have been so easily... More

This is an old palace, clean, comfortable, frendly helpful staff. The building may lack some mod cons but makes up for it in atmosphere. Close to all the attractions of evora it was a good location. Make sure to ask directions at the desk as street signs for walkers are sadly lacking. Breakfast was good, no choice ,however of cooked items, only scrambled egg.
