The hotel is perfectly fr located for touring the town on foot. The building is wonderful, with great common areas (including wood burning fireplace to enjoy). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were acceptable, though not luxurious -- but this was minor point, as the hotel as a whole was wonderful. Definitely recommend a stay here.

We stayed in December and booked two rooms one for ourselves and 1 for the kids. Rooms are basic and clean. Bathroom with small complimentary soaps etc. We booked to include breakfast which while it didnt have a massive selection it was ample for what we needed. Cereal , Toast , different breads , cold meats and cheese along with... More

I and my two girlfriends stayed in a triple room with a private bath. Room was spacious and clean. The TV didn't work well or at least we couldn't get it to work. There is no elevator so we had to haul our bags up steep stairs. The breakfast that was included was very good though and the staff was... More

Clean, reasonable rooms with a simple continental breakfast included. Helpful staff with excellent English. Quite a few steps for those of you who travel with many bags. The location in the historic section was perfect for us. Be aware of the parking issues. During the day you need to pay every 4 hours, except Sunday.

We liked the hotel, an older facility with great breakfast. Good location, near the main plaça but far enough away to not hear the noise. Church next door, so if bells bother you, might want ear plugs. Staff was very helpful, very fluent in English, with good food recommendations. Wi-fi was spotty in our second floor room, thanks to the... More

we really enjoy our time at Evora - this small hotel is simple and clean, we loved it. The staff is really great :) the breakfast is simple and good, good coffee, freshly baked cake and freshly squeezed orange juice. it is a good base for exploring the old town.

Inside the walled city. You have to park outside and bring your luggage in so pack lightly. This hotel is a former monastery and is very old. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, the towels were big and thick. The only problem was that the church bells started at 4 AM.

The location is great. Parking in front is timed (max 4 hours), but there is free parking outside the city walls, 10 mins away. The room was ok (shower head broken). Breakfast was acceptable. But the place is just too LOUD. Inside, you have the clac-clac from carry-ons over tiles without carpet. Behind our room was a kindergarten... no big... More

We stayed one night whilst driving through Portugal, whilst it was a beautiful building it was extremely tired and in need of renovation. Our bathroom looked like it had had some work recently and was a good size, whilst our bedroom was cramped, had a TV which was old and not working as was the safe. The door to our... More
