What remains with me after my stay is a lasting impression of a warm welcome, and an authentic feeling of relaxation. I had stayed in many places over the previous few weeks and when I arrived at Imani, I finally relaxed in a way I hadn't been able to elsewhere. Certainly, the landscape and gardens help by creating a sense... More

We spent three nights in this quiet country-side boutique hotel - and we truly loved the place. The location is perfect: just one hour from Lisbon and only a short drive from Evora. It has certainly got everything you could rightfully expect for the price, be it the friendly, attentive multilingual staff, the furnishing an decoration etc. Everything in this... More

I stayed at Imani in April 2015 with my husband and our 10 year old daughter and loved it! Service was genuinely fantastic, as was the food and property. In fact it was so good we had dinner there every night of our stay (3) and would have liked to stay a week. It is a very stylish yet personal... More

Came to stay at Imani for 2 nights after discovering it in a magazine and it was easily the highlight of our trip. The location is close to Ėvora however feels wonderfully secluded. Driving up the dirt road and through the gate we were immediately greeted by Pedro who welcomed us, took us to our room, and gave us a... More

The staff were absolutely amazing from the moment we booked our room to the moment we left. Furthermore, the grounds are breathtaking. The property is surrounded by Orange, Lemon, and Olive groves with wonderfully friendly cats, sheep, chickens and two donkeys. It rained for about 90% of the time we were there (which they told us was uncommon for this... More

We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful location. The professional service we received starded from the moment we put the car under the orange tree in the orchard. You will be welcomed heartily while they help you with your luggage. A brief tour of the grounds and a nice glass of port to start your stay pleasant. The rooms are beautifully,... More

There's a part of me which doesn't want to recommend this gorgeous and unique place for fear of it being fully booked the next time we want to stay. Everything about it is beautiful, the rooms, the setting, the quietness, the fruit and olive trees, the view. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Pedro and Sara who recommended... More

This was a special date for us and the Imani staff made it wonderful. Starting on the first e-mail, to the check out we were treated with sympathy and professionalism. I opted to contact directly the hotel, and I advise you to do the same since there are upgrades you can get. The surroundings are wonderful, perfect to relax in... More

We stayed here briefly during our honeymoon and WISH we had stayed longer. I'm already imagining a return for wedding anniversaries. The greeting is totally personal, warm and friendly - and they generously upgraded us to a suite, with ample space to stretch out and relax. The receptionist was very helpful getting us oriented and speaks excellent English. She provided... More

Imani Country House is located in Portugal’s most famous prehistoric region, close to the village of Guadalupe, near Evora (look for signs “Casa no Campo”. It lies on a private estate with spectacular views of cork forests, olive groves and citrus trees. Rooms are fashioned from former quarters for farm workers. They are attractive, clean, eclectic, modern and practical. My... More
