We stayed overnight at Evora Inn, having booked just a few days in advance. It is ideally located at the very heart of the old town. If by car, drop your luggage in frint of the hotel, then park your car in the free parking lot just outside the fortification, down the street of the hotel (but it's one way,... More

We took almost as many photos of our room's decor as the village itself! A charming hotel inside the wonderful walled city of Evora. Overslept through breakfast but it looked like it was very nice. Happened to catch the annual local county fair - really fun. Caution: no lift. But the manager offered to help us carry our suitcases.

Great location, great value. Climb the stairs to Lucy in the Sky room for your own private rooftop balcony and best views of the city. Amazing! Great restaurant tips and sightseeing advice. Like, don't miss the wedding dress made out of cork at this little shop.

We stayed for one night here and it was a real treat. The room was very spacious and individually decorated. They common area is also quirky yet comfortable. Breakfast is offered for 5€, and includes fresh local bread rolls, spreads, cheese, ham, cereals, fruit and yoghurt along with freshly brewed coffee and a selection of teas. The staff here are... This spotless European style hotel is terrific. The doorway entrance is a little bit of a challenge to find and the third floor (by American standards) lobby is a bit of a hike but make the effort as the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is fantastic. All of these positives along with a thoughtful and service oriented... More

Our 1 night stay in Evora was funny also thanks to this hotel. In a perfect position (on the main place of the city) it is clean and managed by two really nice girls. The room were not the best in my life - little bit small and the bathroom was not awasome - but in general it was a... More

Stayed here in a room on the top floor which for 50 Euros/night was a steal. Well decorated, clean room, good air conditioning and comfortable bed. Diana, Paula and their staff were very warm and welcoming and it felt like a proper b&b where you have time to chat and get to know a bit more about Evora. Breakfast was... More

We discovered quite a lot design hotels and guest houses in Portugal and this was another beautifully renovated old house with contemporary design. The location is excellent, the room (it was a suite) was really big, with a little bit smaller bathroom, but good enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving excellent advice on bars, restaurants and places... More

The service at this hotel is fantastic. They spent lots of time explaining the sights and hidden secrets of the city. We got great recommendations for restaurants etc. the rooms are spacious and nicely designed. Only disadvantage is it's a bit noisy from the street.

We loved this little hotel where each room was designed around a theme. The Revolution room was very comfortable with a clean bathroom and comfy bed. You can have breakfast there if you want but we chose to have it in local cafes. The hosts are friendly and we spent time chatting over cups of herbal tea. The hotel is... More
