Very well located hotel, excellent staff, very modern design, rooms and facilities. Rooms are large, well lighted, bathrooms very good with tub and separate rainshower. Very nice view of the garden and pool which must be awesome in summer. Free underground parking with direct access to the hotel was very handy. Bed is huge, kingsize and one of the best... More

The hotel is ideally situated next to the aqueduct within easy reach of all Evora´s historic sites and charming centre. It is housed in an old convent but its design is ultra-modern and sleek - something the Portuguese excel at today. As other reviews have mentioned, our room had a huge glass panel separating the bedroom and bathroom (which could... More

The hotel room was beautiful and service friendly and warm. Breakfast buffet had good selections. We didn't try it, but saw they also have sushi as a dinner option ... which is nice as Japanese seems to be rare / hard to find in this area. More

A very nice hotel in the historical centre. The service was excellent, from the front desk to the restaurant, and the rooms are large and quiet. Expensive though, it costed us 138 € per night. More

This is a very very good hotel for any standards... but... there are some buts... The rooms are very good, but they aren't all like those in the pictures... some of them are just good, not excellent as they should be... there isn't wi fi in the bedrooms, just cable internet net... if you want to go online on the... I stayed for 3 nights at this really nice hotel for a conference/forum. The hotel is within the walls of the old town of Evora. The rooms are well appointed and modern and well designed. The restaurants are nice and the staff at the front office are very helpful. The health club/gym is very small and does not seem to... More

Evora is a top place for a weekend. Mar d'Ar is the place to stay. 5star details like bycicles available to cycle the town. And what a concierge they have,is what you dream about a concierge should be. Stay there and you will never forget Evora. More

Can't fault it. Everything was nice. We particularly enjoyed the outside pool. It's a nice walk into town and has a nice view of the aquaduct. Staff there were very friendly and helpful. Restuarant was very nice and quaint. A little lacking in variety but what there was was nice. More

Friends of mine had already recommended this hotel, but it really surpassed my expectations. It's super cool design but blending in perfectly with the historic buildings. The service was excellent as well. Everybody so nice and helpful. We spent some hours at the wonderful pool with views on the aqueduct. Sooooo nice and relaxing!! It's right there in Evora's center,... More
