Stayed two nights with friends and took advantage of the three course evening meal offered for $20,000 peso per person. Delicious home cooked food made and prepared by host. Vegetable soup, fresh pasta with king crab or local mushrooms, cold desert similar to pannacotta. Wine available. Breakfast was substantial with home made rolls, scrambled eggs, fresh orange juice, tea or... More

Entre Hielos is an exceptional place. Every detail in the rooms, the restaurant, the living space is beautiful. Kudos to Maria Paz, the owner and architect, whose taste is impeccable. And to think there are no roads in this town, so every item in this place had to be carried up and down the Caleta Tortel stairways that connect this... More

The reviews of this lodge have been exceptionally favorable, but I wanted to add that their dinners are outstanding, the best we have had by far in this part of Patagonia in an 8-day trip. The cost is the same as other places we've stayed (20,000 pesos per person plus wine), but the quality is much better. Among other things,... More

I have been twice at Entre Hielos during my Chile Trip, as the atmosphere in this house is so cosy and welcoming, that you enjoy every moment of your stay. The details in decoration, the fresh floral arrangements, the fire, the perfectly arranged wooden pieces and last but not least the spirit of Maria Paz the owner of the house... More

there is a lot of things that comes with the stay. Maria Paz is the owner of the place and she will catch your heart with her attention to details. the lodge have lots of little enchanted things, the decor, the warm, the smell, the tableware, the cosiness of the room and the living room, always warm, the beautiful handicraft... We had been at the Lodge in 2009, and we loved it so much we planned another road trip to Patagonia so we could visit and stay there again. Be warned that with most accommodation you will have to carry your bags through the walkways and stairs, but you can call Entre Hielos from the information office in the parking... More

Caleta Tortel is a unique and magical place, and the lodge itself is delightful - very comfortable and cosy, with excellent food and wine. We had a couple of problems whilst we were there and Maria Paz was kindness itself and could not have been more helpful. She also has a wealth of knowledge about the area and has written... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for our honeymoon. Maria is a warm and genuine person and this spread throughout the whole place. We had a wonderful time and felt so welcome and looked after the whole time we were there. The food was absolutely delicious and the range of wines amazing. Some reviews state that electricity and hot water... More

This is the most luxurious option to stay in Caleta Tortel. It is a finely appointed establishment with a decent selection of bedrooms to cater for every taste. A good breakfast is served and guests have the option to have dinner in-house as well. None of the meals disappointed. It is a remote part of the country and even though... More

Entre Hielos Lodge is one of these rare places where you feel at home. The warmth exposed by Maria Paz and her husband and by the fireplaces is welcoming you. The rooms are cosy and elegantly designed. The food is excellent. Our crab lasagne was esquisite. This is truly a place worth a trip alone.
