I deliberated whether to rate this Inn a little lower but we had a great time overall even if there were a few problems. The good points were that the situation of the Ship Inn was excellent, the views were magnificent and the beds were comfortable. However although the room appeared clean, the toilet rim was disgusting and when we... More

I was in the area for a Monday business meeting and as it was an early start, went down on the Sunday night with my wife and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Bedroom overlooked the beach; dinner was excellent, well kept real ale and a good breakfast. The staff were great and there was a really welcoming atmosphere. One of... More

Please be aware that we did not stay at the pub just had Sunday Lunch x4 people - the setting itself speaks for itself but the quality and quantity of Sunday Lunch was probably the worst we have ever had. Here we go - watered down gravy with one jug of gravy given between four initially ( we had to... More

What a setting. Beautiful view while sipping a pint or eating your meal. Beer and wine excellent. Food top notch. All served by very friendly staff. A week in Tresaith and 7 visits to this remarkable gem. Neither of us could find a fault with the place. Would highly recommend. Also would like to thanks the 3 or 4 locals... More

Stayed here one night on business, and was made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, with lovely sea views from the full height windows, which open onto a small balcony. The beach/bay is only 50 metres walk down the hill from the Inn. Claire (the manager) very helpfully pointed out that the Wales Coast path passed... More

Thank you to Claire and your team for looking after us this weekend. You made us feel special, however it was clear that you did the same to all your guests. A real skill and a love of people and good customer service.

The new management (lovely young couple) are clearly doing all the right things. The staff are friendly and helpful, and always go a bit further to make our stay extra special. The food is delicious. I recommend the pear, goats cheese and roast walnut salad. The smoked mackerel pate and dressed crab are also lovely. The new wine list is... More
