Had a lovely couple of days here. Really felt like home from home. We enjoyed our meal on the first night so we decided to eat there the next night too. Very comfortable room with great sea view. Already trying to plan a return trip. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

fantastic location, friendly staff and super duper location. Room really good value for all this. Breakfast fantastic. Highly recommended but think you will need to book early to avoid disappointment. Also must be prepared to hike up or down hill if parking gets a bit tight! Will really suit those wanting a less formal, relaxing "away from it all stay".... More

I am a local & used to enjoy coming to visit. Unfortunately, my last visit changed this. I think the food is over rated & over priced, and the service quite slack. The food itself is good, but not as good as whoever sets the prices thinks! Great views though!!

A very warm welcome from the team. There are about four rooms overlooking the sea which is a fantastic view. In general the room has what you need but seemed a little tired as did the carpet outside the rooms. The bar downstairs serves a good range of drinks including Welsh ales. The bar is used by the locals so... More

We visited The Ship for a dog friendly lunch, shortly before Christmas and were warmly welcomed into the bar area to eat ,with the dogs safely settled under the table. The food was good .The only criticism we have is as the lunchtime progressed we tended to be forgotten. We think it would be a good idea to make staff responsible for certain... We decided to spend a weekend at the Ship at the beginning of December and couldn't have wished for a more enjoyable weekend ! The hospitality shown by Claire, Andrew and the rest of the staff was second to none. Breakfast was plentiful and the evening meals were just as nice. The roaring log fire was a perfect touch when... We were staying in Tresaith and passed The Ship Inn on our way to the beach several times and decided to pop in for coffee. Having 2 dogs and 3 children in our group we half expected to be sent outside (in November!) or turned away. They could not have been more welcoming to us all, dogs got some treats... More

I deliberated whether to rate this Inn a little lower but we had a great time overall even if there were a few problems. The good points were that the situation of the Ship Inn was excellent, the views were magnificent and the beds were comfortable. However although the room appeared clean, the toilet rim was disgusting and when we... More
