The hotel is right on the edge of the estuary and has extensive views across the bay and up the river.Thete is a wide range of real ales and a large menu available. There is plenty of seating inside and out of the hotel. The parking is free which is a big advantage It is a very popular area and there... More

Such a warm welcome and fantastic food, keep an eye on the Specials board for seafood specials. We called in every day during out stay in Ceredigion and we were greeted with a smile and a hreat reception every time. Whether it was for a meal or just a drink. Cant wait to come back soon

Just been for an anniversary meal with my good lady and could not fault anything. The new (this week) menu was varied and interesting, with something to cater for all tastes, including vegetarian and vegan. Light and tasty starters, with a main cooked to perfection. A lovely location and we were lucky enough to see the frequently sighted dolphins. Management... More

Tresaith nestles in a small bay enclosed by high cliffs on each side, and the Ship Inn is perfectly located right in the middle with a panorama view of the bay, yet just far enough from the shore line to avoid the roaring winter seas. Upon arrival, I entered the reception area which blends in to the attractively comfortable bar... More

Give a good pub to a bad brewery....we've been in a couple of time since the last review but this time I thought that we'd walked into a clinic! Everything's been painted white and what was an atmospheric little pub could now undertake surgical procedures: It felt as though I was visiting an apartment with a white carpet and that... More

We were staying at nearby "Gwalia falls"up the hill and thought we'd treat ourselves(2 adults 4 kids) to an evening meal. We booked the night before and was liking forward to it all day. We arrived nice and early and was shown to our table at the back (no nice views then). The waitress was very prompt with drinks order... More

The Ship Inn is in an amazing location very close to the beach and sea. Only a small car park but as we went in March we had no problem finding a space. Lovely big bedroom at the front with everything we needed. Lots of places to sit and enjoy a drink, either in the main part of the inn... More

Dogs being allowed in a restaurant is a bad choice, we sat down to dog hair infested chairs and there was even a clump of dog hair on the table as we were eating, the barstaff gave dog treats from behind the bar which is frankly disgusting and unhygienic. This pub used to be one of the best now it... More

This is a review of the restaurant only. We were staying elsewhere. On the final night of our visit to Ceredigion I was persuaded to give The Ship another try, for our meal out. Big mistake. As you walk in, the ambiance is excellent. Such a great location but this is the 3rd time we've been sadly disappointed by the... More
