Even after living in Aberporth for all my childhood I had actually never had a meal at The Ship Inn, what a lovely place & atmosphere, the staff couldn't do enough for us, the food was excellent I had beer battered fish & it was HUGE with a choice of chips potatoes or sweet potato chips which are my favourite.... The Ship is a pub with rooms – so don’t expect hotel facilities. However, you won’t find a more attractive coast allocation, situated as it is right on Tresaith beach with its waterfall which was tumultuous following all the rain. Our room was a good size, clean and in very good condition with a decent refreshments tray. And, of course,... More

Stopped nearby on a quick overnight - had read reasonable reviews so thought we would try it. First impressions very good, nice decor, laid back and attentive service. New guy on the bar was a bit slow but hey we all got to learn ! Even in November there was quite a few bookings so we were lucky to get... More

Went here in the summer with the family. Although the pub is in a fairly isolated area it was busy. There is very little parking in or near the pub but there is plenty of parking up the top of the cliff with steps down. Once inside the decor is great the view id perfect and the food was really... We enjoyed an outstanding stay at The Ship Inn. Our room was cosy and welcoming, with a beautiful view over the beach towards Cardigan Bay. It was probably only 50 metres to the beach, and no more than 100 metres to the shoreline. The sound of the waves gently caressing the golden sands was quite hypnotic. Our stay included breakfast,... I stayed here for one night on a business trip. The location is wonderful. Perched on the coast on a quiet lane, overlooking the cove with just a 2 minute stroll to the beach. Accommodation is first class. Very comfortable double room, en-suite with a fantastic sea view (all the rooms have sea views). Décor is contemporary; clean and bright-looking... More

We have been here a few times over the last few years and just love it. Whether it is outside looking at the beautiful view in the sunshine, or inside by the cosy fire on a cold day. My brother recently got married in Tresaith so we booked a large group here for a meal the night before the wedding... More

I went here on Saturday - originally just for drinks to sit by the sea and admire the amazing view, but decided on a light lunch afterwards. I have to say, the choice was fabulous and the quality amazing. I was with two friends and we all had different sandwiches: I had the local crab salad on granary, another had... More
