We have stayed for a couple of nights at Kyrimai hotel, in a room that was SO !!!! depressingly small and Dark, that nearly ruined that part of my vocations. Kyrimai Hotel is a traditional building situated at Gerolimenas bay, that had been restored and run as a hotel. Unfortunately bigger spaces( rooms) were divide with plasterboards to a prison-like... Greece is so much more than Crete, Rhodes etc. Mani is a bit difficult to reach, but its certainly worth the effort. And in this rather faraway part pf Greece you will be surprised to find a hotel with such a quality, faithful to the local traditions. Clean, friendly and meals of excellent quality made our stay a genuine greek... More

Very historic place in beautiful rural Mani. Renovated with a caring and tasteful eye and contains all the physical comforts you may want. We tried two rooms as we asked to swap after two nights in the very historic tower house room, which although interesting is far from practical - (Steep stairs with low beams you might hit your head... We have just returned from a 6 night stay at the Kyrimai. The setting of the hotel is beautiful with the hotel being situated right next to the sea. The rustic design of this boutique hotel is lovely and full of character. The pool area is compact but with great subeds and a superb view. The hotel restaurant is good... More

This is the 3rd time we stayed at Kyrimai, we simply love its location, its peacefulness, the rooms decoration, its good kitchen, and the professionalism of the staff. Mani is a great place to visit and coming back to Kyrimai has always been a delight for us.

Gerolimenas is a sleepy seaside village and Kyrimai is an unexpected luxury. The architecture is typical of Mani which is a plus for us. Our two level loft had great views of the pool and the sea. The breakfast was a tasty feast. The pool was welcoming, although lounge chairs were limited in number. Service was excellent all around. We... More

This hotel is an absolute dream. Built in the style of the Mani region in Greece, with stones, this hotel sits right on the water at the end of the peninsula, and is an absolute delight. The hotel is beautiful and feels like a home. Service is great all around, from the reception desk to the restaurant/bar. The staff could... More

....well almost the end of the Mani peninsula in the Peloponnese, it certainly feels like the end of the world. The hotel is a converted mansion house and warehouses, still in the same family and run by them. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and has a good Greek wine list selected by the... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Kyrimai for 3 nights in late May and loved every moment of it. Prior to our arrival I'd read plenty of reviews praising the location and beautiful surroundings but nothing can quite prepare you for how stunning the area actually is. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and surprisingly spacious, and you couldn't ask for... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Mani, in the southern Peloponnese, is one of the most unique regions in Greece known for its wild, rugged beauty, the customs of its people and its heritage. The Kyrimai Hotel represents an exquisite renovation of the old trade centre of Mani built in 1870. The result is an awesome rendering of period architecture, complete with a complex of stairways, arches and inner courts. ... more   less
