Excellent location, traditional spacious rooms with fabulous view, the jacuzzi was the pleasant surprise, full facilities offered (bar, catering, beach lounges & service). We enjoyed the high quality level of service offered by the professional smiling staff on every aspect- restaurant, reception, room service, beach facilities, still in a very distinctive way. Peaceful & romantic destination for soul purification

The drive from Athens took a very long time, over 4 hours, even though the motorway is a driver's dream! We had been to the Kyrimai before and I was beginning to wonder if it was really worth this effort...after all, the previous stay had been our first visit and maybe the memory had somehow increased in 'sparkle'? No way,... More

My last review was a Big Easy bummer. We found ourselves knee-deep in horse manure at the JazzFest racetrack, staying at an overrated hotel in the French Quarter. What we learned there is to stop trying to relive our youthful glory days. A proper bucket list is all about discovery. So JazzFest became our last large music festival, ever. There... More

This is a great hotel in a wonderful location. Beautifully converted from a previously ruined complex of industrial buildings, it now has 22 rooms and suites, each of which is highly individual and most of which enjoy sea views. We were initially disconcerted by the fact that our terrace was ‘shared’, but with a specific table reserved for the room... More

Loved Kyrimai... Our experience at Kyrimai was..." what took us so long to visit this place??" The location.. Impeccable ... The restaurant was honestly the best food we ever had in a hotel before. A complimentary "Kyrimai cocktail" from the bartender was a nice gesture while we were waiting for our amazing dinner.. The breakfast on the deck right by... More

I travel extensively all over the world the the unwelcome my son and I received at this hotel was one of the worst I have had the misfortune to experience. The staff was a disinterested overworked woman at the front desk that has to be either a sister or close relative of the owner based on her attitude. My son... More

We booked a Classic Room. Whilst well decorated was dark and gloomy with a view of the alley. The bathroom was cramped. There were three changes of floor level in the room. The building was very interesting and in a lovely setting, but the service left a lot to be desired. At breakfast there was a lack of management. The... More

This hotel ticked every box for us. Individual. Beautifully furnished. A location that is unbeatable overlooking the sea. Fantastic cuisine. Breakfasts are the healthiest we have ever experienced set out on an open terrace with amazing views over the bay. The building is steeped in history and the owners go the extra mile to ensure that guests comforts are the... More

I would almost give this hotel 4 stars just for its website, which is very slick and very convincing. The reality wasn't quite as good, but we had just come from Kinsterna Hotel at Monemvasia, which was a very hard act to follow. The hotel is a complex of stone buildings at the end of the village of Gerolimenas. It's... More

This stone-built, wood-panelled complex on the edge of atmospheric Gerolimenas originally served as the warehouse of the owners' formidable ancestors, when the village was a major port. Now you can take a dip in the pool or the sea, peruse the family's ancestral documents at odd moments, or simply sit gazing out at the cerulean waters (flanked by the stupendous... More
