Went here with a buy a gift voucher. When u drive up the driveway you just go WOW. If you like old fashioned this is the place to go. Reception a bit disappointing as it wasn't in the main hall but when went exploring later the rooms on the picture were breath taking. We stayed in small standard room which... More

Managed to bag a really good price on the internet, but I wouldn't pay the full price. The grounds are lovely and enormous, and the main house is just amazing. A proper stately home. The staff are all lovely. Our room was number 2 in the stable courtyard which we expected, but it is very small and quite dark. The... More

well, the location is lovely, nicely secluded, gorgeous long drive which sweeps round to reveal a magnificent mansion house that makes your jaw drop. Now, granted..... You do have to drive pass the most hideous leisure club (a poor reflection to the house), BUT, avert your eyes. Allow them to be drawn to the princely turrets and the wonderful carved... More

We received a totally impromptu tour by David Framton who was just finishing his day's work. His in depth knowledge of the Hall and its history was captivating and his enthusiasm had us enthralled. In particular his pet project on the war medals given to the parachute divisions who were billeted at the Hall prior to the devastating attack at... More

This is a Gem of a hotel, its a 3 star hotel but it feels like a 4 star. You feel like you are staying in a stately home. We booked a small double bed room and when we checked in we were given an upgrade to a Mansion Room, very large double room and large bathroom with a bath.... More

We paid for a junior suite. Checked in the room was clean but nothing like pictures on web site. Large bathroom badly designed. No good for anyone who needed a bar to get out if bath. Unless we were 7 ft tall looking out if windows was difficult. Complained told hotel full. Then offered Stamford room, clean room but still... More

Stunning building, first view is of how magnificent the building is. We certainly found, reception very quick and efficient with a very helpful young lady. We decided to dine in the restaurant, and the food was fabulous. The menu was not as extensive as some however the quality more than made up for that. The lamb, chicken, salmon and pork... More

We visited Stoke Rochford Hall the weekend before last and were graced with glorious sunshine for the weekend! We arrived by taxi later in the evening and were checked in quickly. The reception is currently under renovation I believe but it still looks very professional and welcoming. We were staying in the converted barns I believe so not in the... More

i paid for a room upgrade to a Mansion room but we were really disappointed. The room wasn't overly large and the view disappointing. ( overlooked the car park) It was however very quiet. The swimming pool is very disappointing as it's old and antiquated. The saunas are individual in each of the changing rooms. We also had an inclusive... More

I was here for a conference and stayed over two nights in the stable block. I haven't researched this so when I arrived I was really taken in by the wrought iron gates, the building, the orangery and the light play on the stone. It really is a beautiful country parkland setting. The main hall, library and orangery are all... More
