Martine really looked after us during our stay. The b&b was very central to the main part of town and the house was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The provision of bottled water and little treats added to a great experience. Our room was spacious and warm. Ypres is a 'must see' and we couldn't think of a... more

B & B Ter Thuyne is excellent in all ways. Easy walk from station and market square. Impeccably clean, comfortable room. Fantastic breakfast. Hostess Martine is the best ever. I look forward to being able to return to Ypres and stay at Ter Thuyne again, this time allowing more time to relax and enjoy the area. Salient Tours offers excellent... more

Ypres is a great location for touring Flanders by car, train or bike, and is itself a delightful town to stay in. Ter Thuyne B&B is very central: a 5 min. walk from the center or station, and 10 mins. from the Menin Gate. We enjoyed: chats with the owner, Martine, over elaborate breakfasts; the stylish, peaceful, cozy bedrooms and... more

My wife & I stayed here for 4 nights while in Ypres for the Commemoration of the 90th Anniversary of the Armistice. We had booked it in August 2007, having found the website by chance, having drawn a blank in every other hotel/b&b we had tried - Ypres was booked solid! We visited Ypres earlier in the year and went... more

We stayed at Ypres for a week as part of a journey to the battlefields of WW1. We chose Ter Thuyne because of its central location..a short walk from the Great Cloth Hall and town square. We are very experienced travellers, but found Ter Thuyne to be one of the very nicest places we have ever stayed. The Ter Thuyne... more

A really great B&B - well located, very warm welcome, beautiful spacious room, an excellent healthy breakfast, so comfortable and so very CLEAN. Martine was the perfect hostess, with helpful advice on restaurants etc and some very nice touches to spoil her guests. She speaks very good English and genuinely seems to enjoy welcoming travellers in her lovely home. Our... more

This is a lovely B&B - outstanding in every way. I can't recommend it highly enough. Five of us stayed with Martine for two days in June, and I wish we could have made it longer. The beds were comfortable, the rooms lovely, and Martine spoils all of her guests with little extras that add a charming touch. The location... more

Martine speaks excellent English and was very prompt and helpful in our booking and the planning of our itinerary. The hotel is just off the main square which makes it quiet enough for a good nights rest but close enough to those important Belgian pubs and restaurants. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern with good facilities. Continental breakfast... more

Found this B&B on Trip Advisor, emailed directly. Owner very prompt emailing availability. On arrival we were made so welcome. Rooms absolutely beautiful, real attention to detail, beds really comfy, kettle, tea.coffee. biscuits in room. Spotlessly clean. Quiet road, our large room was at the front of the house, with two large windows. Few restaurants around the hotel, but it's... more
