Absolutely fabulous, Could not say a thing negative. As others have said Charlotte is knowledgeable, food is great, do take here advice about the retuarant in Ypres as fabulous food. Accomodation lovely and the apple pie is so easy to make as she gives you the recipe. Do not think about staying anywhere else in this region more

Charlotte is an excellent host and Varlet Farm is an ideal choice. You are made to feel so welcome from the arrival till departure. I'm not going to repeat all the good things that have already been said about this B&B. Suffice to say that breakfast is a treat and being able to take some for lunch is a lovely touch. Ive stayed here a number of times now and it still remains the best B&B by far especially if you're doing a WW1 research visit as it's pretty much central for Ypres and Paschendale. Also a great B&B for bikers as there is good secure parking for your bike. more
