This hotel is located right across from the Cloth Hall, a magnificent building completely rebuilt, like most of the town, after the destruction during World War 1. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We were a small group of cyclists and the hotel found room for our bikes. Parking could be an issue, since it is about 300 metres... More

....both good and bad. Travelling with a group, we were booked into this hotel for a weekend visiting the battlefields. In an unrivalled position on the corner of the market place opposite the Cloth Hall and fountain, so far so good- but we were a little concerned on arrival to find that our room was on the top (3rd) floor,... My wife and I visited here as the final part of a busy European holiday. The location is superb, right on the market place opposite the Cloth Hall - which can be a drawback if you get the rooms at the front like we did - what with the clock striking every 15 minutes - all 49 bells!! and a... More

We stayed in the family room (1 double + 2 single pop-up beds). The location is fantastic, right opposite the Ypres Cloth Hall in the very centre of town. The family room we stayed in was actually an apartment of bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and reception area so the 2 single beds were set up in the living area... More

We stayed here one night in a refurbished room on the first floor, room 101. Our room was spacious, quiet and very clean. It had a very comfortable bed for sleeping, a small table and 2 chairs, a coffee machine, a kettle and tea and coffee provisions. There was plenty of hanging space also. Large windows with double blinds which... More

Excellent. A lovely hotel. The staff (in particular the girl on reception) couldn't have been more helpful. We wanted to stay an extra night which meant moving rooms and rearranging the rooms which they did with no fuss. They even moved the luggage. We will return, this is my second visit and won't be my last.

We arrived to be told that one of the two rooms that we had booked at hotel Regina had been damaged by a leak and that one part of our family group were being transfered to the sister hotel- Hotel O. I declined this as we were travelling as a family and had booked both rooms on one reservation. I... More

We loved Ypres and the opportunity to visit the Menin Gate and WW1 sites. The hotel is a classic tired one where investment is needed to upgrade. This has started and we benefitted from one of the new rooms. This was light, airy and the mattress incredibly comfortable. Our friends were not so lucky and had a very old room... More

With this hotel it’s location, location, location, but….. it can lack in other areas. It’s situated on the Grote Markt directly across the road from the Cloth Hall (In Flanders Fields Museum), which is essentially the centre of Ypres. And it is a short walk from the Menin Gate and other attractions in the town. On the booking, via the... More

The location was perfect, although the car park was a five-minute walk away. The room was adequate: the bed comfortable with good linen; the bathroom a little dated but everything worked and it was clean enough; storage space was excellent, although we only stayed one night; good coffee-making equipment. We had a third floor room with a view of the... More
