The hotel is extremely old and a bit of a maze but has so much charm! The hotel is on a square which often holds festivities. It is a 5 minute walk to Menin Gate and only 10 minute walk from the train station. All the staff are very friendly and all speak perfect English. The elevator is only tiny... More

We were staying at this Hotel for one night to visit the local war cemetaries and the Menin Gate. This hotel is perfectly located on the main square, opposite the church/cathedral. If you don't want to eat in their restaurant there are plenty of nearby alternatives. The hotel receptionist didn't appear for some minutes but we were offered a complimentary... More

It is in the town centre, across from Flanders the museum, 2 miles The Essex Farm (Flanders Fields Cemetery), the hotel is a little bit tired the restaurant is a bit pricey but the staff is very nice. The hotel does have an elevator, and outside is the town square, there are hotels further down the road that are cheaper priced overall... More

We spent new year in Bruges and decided to add an extra night on our way home. We chose Ypres as my husband is very interested in ww1 history. We stayed at hotel Regina and were delighted. The lady who booked us in was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived early but were able to get straight... More

We booked this hotel as wanted to be near the Menin gate and the Flanders Field museum. The hotel is located on the corner of the market square opposite the Cloth Hall which houses the Flanders Field museum. The Menin gate is a two minute walk away. Having read a few negative reviews I am somewhat surprised as we had... More

We stayed for 2 nights and would have loved to stay longer. Right opposite the cloth hall and great views down the street. The Menin Gate is 5 minutes walk away and we parked our car in their private car park 7 minutes walk away just past the menin gate, brilliant and safe. The food in the hotel was wonderful... More

The Regina Hotel is situated in the market square directly opposite the Cloth Hall. It's in a perfect location for visitors. Everything is within easy walking distance. Menin Gate is 2 minute walk and can be seen from outside hotel. Hotel is comfortable and clean although a little dated in decor. Breakfast was first class and staff very pleasant and... More

What an incredibly stunning town! The juxtaposition of the the wonderfully old architecture and history contrasts with such a modern hotel with a contemporary attitude. The owners of the hotel offered a very generous service to us in our brief stay. Our room was spacious and very modern with a brilliant view of the town meters from the main square.... More

Second visit to this place. It is very well located. We got upgraded to their recently decorated hotel around the corner and hey said we'd been upgraded to a better room but it was pretty sparse and cold so would have been interested in knowing what the normal level would have been! Took a long time for reception to check... More
