The continental breakfast was first class. and the accomodation was to a very high standard. Drove into the lovely town of Ypres and had the Albion hotel on my list but had difficulty in finding it. It didn't seem to be in the right place according the tourism map- Stumbled on it but glad we did. Wonderfully helpful owner more

I booked three rooms for a three day stay at the Albion for ourselves and friends. All of us agreed that the hotel was very clean and comfortable and quiet. The hosts were extremely friendy and helped make our stay most enjoyable. We all have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and if returning to Ypres would stay there again.... more

We recommend Albion Hotel as a truly comfortable, welcoming place to stay. It is located in a side street off the main square - so close to the Menin gate and shops. The decor is quietly elegant. Our room was extremely clean and well appointed with a beautiful ensuite bathroom. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in the elegant dining... more

We had our 18 month old daughter with us and the room was ready with a cot, and a high chair was available at breakfast time. My parents were in the next room and as we were the only... more

An entry in the hotel's Visitors' Book reads: "the best small hotel in Europe" and this really says it all. The Albion is small, quiet, intimate and welcoming. The location is brilliant - a few minutes walk to the Menin Gate and the town square which fairly bustles with an amazing array of cafes and restaurants. Our room was excepionally spacious... more

First impressions are good; the hotel looks very well maintained, both inside and outside. The hotel has a good sized bar/lounge area, which doubles as the breakfast restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A smallish - medium size family hotel in which reception is not always manned - though this cause no inconvenience. The room and bedding... more
