Upon arrival we were welcomed by Tessa who was most helpful. The hotel has a three star rating. Our en-suite room was immaculate, perfectly appointed, complete with the most up to date, top of the range bathroom fittings, well worthy of a five star rating. Our greeting from Melissa in the dining room was no less helpful and accommodating. Our... More

My wife and I recently visited Ieper and stayed at the Albion Hotel for the third time since late 2007. We were booked into one of the newer rooms which came into use in April 2014. Though a little more expensive it was worth it as the standard of fittings and facilities was of a high level. As usual at... More

This hotel is situated just off the main square of Ypres. On arrival we were greeted by friendly and very helpful staff who make you feel very welcome indeed. We stayed for two nights in the newly renovated rooms on the third floor. These rooms are pleasing as on the eye as soon as you enter them. Clean, fresh looking décor... More

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in a double room. Pros: - excellent location (easy walk to the main square and gate ceremony) - very good breakfast included with variety and good coffee - free WIFI and guest computer available - free parking outside the hotel (we had no issues with finding availability; apparently hotel is working on... Together with a group of friends I visit the First World War battlefields every year. This year we based ourselves in Ieper. We were lucky enough to get accomodation (4 x twin rooms) at The Albion Hotel. What a good choice that was, the hotel has been modernised and is delightful. Well positioned near the town centre and in a... More

Stayed 3 nights whilst visiting WW1 sites. Hotel older style building, but clean spacious and comfortable throughought. Staff friendly and helpful and all seemed very pleasant. Reasonably priced for Ypres, which tends to be on the expensive side anyway and good value for money. We would certainly stay again and will do. Only small negative points, very nice breakfast buffet could do with... More

I am able to get my scooter in Via rear entrance so I can keep it charged. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful,... More

EXCELLENT. In the centre of the town down a very quiet street. Rooms were spacious, well-appointed and very clean. Breakfast, excellent: large variety of food; good tea and constant replenishment. You can eat enough to last all day! ALL staff were efficient, attentive and polite. A vast range of local tourist information, especially about the Ypres Salient and WW1 which... More

The receptionist was welcoming and very helpful in giving advice about the hotel's facilities and Ypres. The hotel has off-road parking around the back a short walk away and is very conveniently located close to the Menin Gate. The bedrooms are modern and with a large comfortable bed and modern ensuite. Excellent buffet breakfast. All in all this is an... More
