Our hotel room was large and clean with a relaxed but luxurious atmosphere. There is coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms. Our shower area was small but perfectly adequate. Some rooms had showers over the bath and others showers and a bath, so ask if you have a special requirement. Breakfast was continental style served on Villroy and Bosch tableware. The... More

We were visiting Ypres and the surrounding area in April 2015! The Albion Hotel suited our needs perfectly. In a quiet street off from the main Square, but only 5 minutes from the Menin Gate and the Museum. The staff were welcoming, the rooms clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was good, with excellent coffee and a good... More

Our lasting impression of this hotel will be the warmth and efficiency of the reception staff. We were made to feel so welcome, with advice about parking the car on the road side....and the staff would forward the parking permit to adhere to the regulations, if we left the car keys. Good knowledge about places to eat. We also booked the... More

To be honest, I only booked it because it was one of only 4 hotels in Ypres that offered parking so was pleasantly surprised to find it a gem. Very clean and tidy although seems to be going through a minor renovation. Very friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Could not fault, ticked all the boxes

Stayed for four nights. We had booked online and reserved a "Tower View Room" and were given room 310 (all Tower View rooms are on the 3rd floor). However, there was no view of any towers - Ypres town centre was on the other side of the building! We had a car park and a building site. Apparently the room... More

A wonderful and clean hotel which I would highly recommend. Everything is just in place and it's near restaurants and it's located in the city centre. The beer is very good. I would urge one to visit the world war one battlefields around the city.

Stayed for two nights. It was really luxurious for a three star hotel. Well located, fantastic helpful staff who booked two great restaurants for us, not the tourist ones but "locals" restaurants. About a 10 minute walk from the train. No tissues provided ,but a great heated towel rail perfect for drying a bit of washing. Really good breakfast too.
