We loved this hotel and would certainly stay here again!!! It is close to both the Menin Gate and the Central Marktplatz. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they will help with local knowledge!! The hotel management are currently undertaking an upgrade with quite a lot of building works being competed BUT it NEVER inconvenienced us... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in the summer of 2014, as part of a WW1 battlefield exporation trip. This is a nice, familiy run hotel. The location is top notch, with just a minutes walk to the main square, shops, bars, restaurants etc. Minutes from the Cloth Hall and it's suberb military museum, minutes from the Menin Gate and... Just returned from 1 night stay. Pleased on arrival room was available early, good that had free parking but be warned is very very narrow to get into their car park, but was very well informed by reception about this. Hotel under going some refurbishment, could strongly smell oil in hallways but not in room. Room nice and clean if... More

4 stars was a little high but 3 was not enough - room good standard - number 304 - massive bathroom - skylight with no covering that I could see - no problem in winter but summertime might be a little bright early in the morning ! Breakfast decent though not the biggest buffet I have ever seen - staff... More

We spent 4 nights in Ieper and were very fortunate to find accommodation at our favourite Hotel - The Albion - as it was over the Armistice period of November 11. The room we had was very comfortable and had a corner aspect with the bedroom overlooking the road in front of the hotel with a view of St James'... More

Very nice, cosy, welcoming hotel, ideally situated. The staff are very nice and polite, and nothing is too much trouble. A real warm welcome to Ypres. It's cheaper than most others but the rooms are very clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast is more than good enough. I wouldn't pay any more to stay in Ypres as long as the... More

Two nights at the Albion Hotel with three business colleagues. All our rooms were clean and I needed a map to find my way around mine! Two minutes walk to the Menin Gate and Ypres town square. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. For example lending me a plug adapter when I discovered I had left mine behind. Recommended a good... More

A large party of us stayed overnight at this great hotel. Very friendly, rooms large and extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast lovely, lots of choice of lovely fresh food. Hotel ideally placed in centre of Ypres. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed in Ypres on a number of occasions but at a different hotel. We decided on a change this time and luckily chose the Albion Hotel. The situation is perfect, just 3 minutes from the square and the Menin Gate. Good, safe on street parking and a sign provided by the hotel so we didn't have to pay.... More
