My wife and i have just returned from yet another visit to Ypres. Where we stayed yet again at the Ariane hotel. This was our sixth visit and we would not think about staying anywhere else. Each time we have stayed, Natasha the Boss and all the staff have always been friendly, courteous and helpful. Nothing is to much trouble... more

I toured the Ypres and Somme cemetries and memorials early in September this year, staying four nights at the Ariane Hotel in Ieper. I have travelled quite a bit, staying at many quality hotels around the world. I found the Ariane to be a good hotel, reasonbly priced (I had a battlefields package), very clean, sizeable rooms, and a good... more

We spent two nights here while touring the battle fields and museums of WW1 and it was an excellent base. Only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the town centre, the rooms are large and clean. Didn't have much interraction with the hotel staff other than at breakfast when they were very polite and accomodating. The breakfast itself was excellent... more

A friend and I stayed for one night last week during a short tour of the WW1 battlefields. We can heartily endorse previous comments about the friendly staff, good service, comfortable rooms and ideal location, which is only about ten minutes walk from the town centre. After the Menin Gate last post ceremony we looked at some of the restaurants... more

My wife and I took our three young children (all under three years of age) to the Hotel Ariane for a two night stay during our recent trip to Belgium. I am happy to say that everything was absolutely perfect. The room was large, clean and well appointed, the food in the restaraunt was the best I have had for... more

I stayed at Hotel Ariane for two nights. After departing a group cycling tour, I came on my own to Ypres to tour the WWI Battlefields. I had booked online through the hotel website, and my "Battlefield Package" included a two night stay, breakfast both mornings, one 4-course dinner in the hotel restaurant, and a four hour afternoon battlefield tour.... more

I Took my daughter for a tour of the world war 1 battlefields and we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. I can keep this review short, because there is nothing to complain about at all. We were travelling by motorcycle and there was plenty of secure parking, space to store our riding gear and luggage on the last... more
