We stayed at the Ariane as a base for touring the battlefields around Ypres in September and were very impressed with the professional service and standards. The restaurant provided a very fine breakfast and one excellent dinner, we ate out on other nights, and the outdoor area was very secluded and pleasant. The staff organised a tour of the Northern... Readers will be familiar with my reviews of Ariane but they are worth an update because in line with hotel policy of constantly upgrading their already exemplary standards readers need to be aware that the breakfasting and dining facilities have been the subject of a makeover and reorganisation in conjunction with room upgrades and additions - as could be expected... We have stayed here a few times now and have always enjoyed our stay here. The staff were always friendly and attentive. We enjoyed a few drinks/ snacks in the lovely garden and had a super meal in the restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable and large. My husband lost his wallet and they were very sympathetic and helpful, they... More

This is a great hotel, great rooms, comfy beds, bath/shower, wifi and the price of 150 euros a night for a double room includes an all you can eat buffet breakfast, which is really good with lots to choose from. The rooms coom with fridge, ironing board and iron and a hair dryer. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk... More

We spent 2 nights at the Ariane in early September. It's a great place to base yourself for touring the battlefields. We received a very warm greeting when we arrived and all staff were friendly and professional and they were also fluent in English which was very helpful for us. We had a large, comfortable room and the bar area... More

We stayed at the Hotel Ariane between 21and 23 September 2014 as a base for touring the northern WW1 Australian Battlefields. First impressions are lasting and on arrival reception had identified us English speaking and greeted us warmly in English. Check in was very smooth and all facilities were explained to us. We stayed in a large top floor room,... More

Dear Mr Lindgren, Thank you for letting us know about the positive and less positive aspects of your stay. We are naturally concerned to read about your experience in our restaurant on your last evening. As you will know from other trip advisor reports, the high standard of our restaurant service is commented on, time and time again. It is... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Ariane about twelve times over the years. We have nothing but praise for it. Everything has always been top rate in all respects - comfort, courtesy, facilities, value for money, cleanliness, and any other heading you can think of. I would recommend it without hesitation. The excellent free car park can be... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Ariane in Ypres. Although we have visited Ypres several times for the day, the last time we stayed at the Ariane was 20 years ago. It has changed (grown) a lot during that time but we were very pleased with the warm welcome from reception, the facilities in... More

Everything is good there. Book early as they can be quite busy, particularly these days with all the WWI celebrations. Food at the restaurant is excellent. Plenty of very nice Belgium beers at the bar. The rooms are very comfortable. I've been going there for about 10 years now, many times a year, as we have business in the area.... More
