This was my birthday but we did not advertise this. At all times the service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to help. It was nice to be made to feel so welcome. What a very pleasant hotel.

I visited the famous Menin Gate and the Flanders museum in Lepers. I stayed at this hotel and must say wow !. Really nice and comfortable hotel to want to stay in. Not far from centre of the town and bars etc. The breakfast has full help yourself English breakfast or continental style. Would stay again if going to the... More

We stayed here for two nights, visiting the area to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of WW1. The room was warm, clean and quite spacious. There were no wardrobes but sufficient open-plan hanging areas each side of the more than adequate shelving. Flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer in the en-suite shower room. Breakfast was a... More

This hotel is a no go. The rooms are very shabby and look like something out of a youth hostel. I stayed for 2 nights on a WWI tour and I dreaded every time I pulled into the car park. The rooms were not to my standards as the moment I got into my room I found what looked like... More

Stayed four nights with a Leger trip. The hotel is on the outskirts of Ypres, handy for the autoroute but not good if you want to walk into the centre of Ypres in the evening. The road outside is busy, partway through a commercial area and with no footpath for some of the way. The walk to the centre would... More

We stayed for one night. We had trouble trying to decide how to rate this hotel; is it a 3 star or a struggling 3 star? The rooms were a bit of an oxymoron, while the bathrooms were modern, the rest of the room looked a little tired. There was no A/C. Only one bath towel for two of us.... More

Stayed one night to see the Menin Gate, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, the Jupiler beer and breakfast were delicious, a bit out of town, we were touring on motorcycles and there wasn't an issue parking them by the entrance.

We stayed for one night to attend the Last Post, it is a long walk out of town, with no pavement along side an industrial estate. Our room looked new and was clean etc The breakfast was very good, as much as you wanted. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We may have been lucky as it was empty when... More
