We stayed here for 5 nights, as a base for our visit to the Ypres Salient area. We cannot fault it. Its very relaxed and the staff very helpful and pleasant. Lodge style rooms - can be a bit claustrophobic as the only natural light we had was a roof window - but hey - who sits in hotel rooms??... More

School groups are in an a separate section of the hotel. Rooms are very practical with ensuite facilities. In refurbished rooms, flat screen tv and excellent shower. The staff re very helpful and flexible when it came to meal times. Food was of good quality and packed lunch you make yourself. It is very busy and during our 5 day... More

I have put this review on due to the fact its marked as the lowest rated hotel in leper and I cannot see why, its clean and tidy, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was very good, we paid 80 Euro's which is about £65 per night for a Twin room. That only works out at £32.50 each with... More

Was on a weekend road trip with a couple buddies and booked a room that was supposed to have four small beds available. We arrived at 0230 and I had to wake the desk attendant up. She gave me a room with only one bed. Well she corrected my dilemma by giving me an extra room that had two beds... More

I'd booked a night in this hotel (as a freebie using my Best Western Reward Points) before I read the TripAdvisor reviews, so I was slightly concerned about what we would find - both in terms of the state of the place and the Scary Lady in the breakfast room. I needn't have worried. Our room was stylish and comfortable.... More

Flanders Lodge is modern in style with sizeable rooms which are a little dark, due to the wood cladding and grey bathroom tiles, but that doesn't detract from its comfort. There is plenty of hanging space and shelving. The towels were quite worn and the rooms were generally clean, but not spotless. Tea and coffee were offered, but no milk,... More

Booked after looking at trip advisor for a place to stay that could accommodate three single beds with a good location. The best western very close to everything we wanted to visit. Great location. We stayed in the new part of the hotel not quite finished. What we didn't have we asked for and it was provided straight away. Great... More

We were in the new extension wing, the room wasn't completely finished - ensuite door doesn't fit/shut, room door not up to fire door regs, internal doors not painted, shower doesn't drain quickly so you have to stop every couple of mins. Decor is up to a high standard however. Laminated floors nice but dirty. Breakfast is lovely - hot... More

Although we were a few Kms out of the city, our stay at Flanders Lodge was great. The bar had a lovely family feel and we met our Boomers on Tour travellers there each night before a delicious dinner for drinks. So much fun. Very economical, spacious but still classy. We'll book again next year for sure.
