Beware the underground car-park. I left my car in there for 2 days without realizing that it was under a leak in the concrete roof. This left a lime deposit on the body-work which would not wash off after I returned to the UK. It cost me £400 to have the damage repaired by a body-shop. more

Spacious comfortable rooms - not luxurious but very good for the price range - with flat screen tv, minibar and clean bathroom. Great self-service breakfasts including the usual hot and cold selections, and best of all, round the side of the hotel, a quiet church square where we parked safely and free of charge for 3 days! Novatel in Ieper was a great hotel. We had a wonderful trip to Ieper, and the hotel was in a brilliant location - literally half a block from the Menin Gate. Have stayed here on several occasions and would not stay anywhere else when in Ypres. This visit was the best breakfast I have experienced some times it has been below par.
