Our stay at Hampshire Hotel O, Ieper was an experience not to forget. The military nic-nacks were just perfect; the breakfast, although early (and on a Sunday, too) was just what we needed. I thoroughly reccomend this hotel.

This hotel has quite an unusual style using the theme of wartime in it's decorations and furniture. Quite well done but having wooden floors everywhere obviously adds to the noise. It was OK mostly but early in the morning other guests were checking out and trundling suitcases along the wooden floors - very noisy and disrupted our sleep. Beds were... More

We didn’t plan on being in the Hotel O (or "Hampshire Hotel O"). Like others mention here, we thought we had reservations for Hotel Regina but found ourselves in what appears to be a bait-and-switch operation for us. My wife and I had reservations for two months before we showed up at 7.00 one evening. We were told that our... More

Hotel O is located on the main square opposite the Town Hall so has good views. It is themed as a WW1 billet – the walls are khaki and the bedside table is a jerry-can. A knapsack hangs on a peg and the wall decoration is a military map of the wartime trenches. The dining area has crates for seats... More

Stayed here for a short break visiting the sites of world war 1,could not be better in terms of not being central just being of the market place. Facilities were excellent in the bedrooms with a safe and your own coffee machine to make a drink, a lovely breakfast was available each morning my only concern would be that if... More

We had originally booked to stay at Hotel Regina, however when we arrived we were told that the hotel was overbooked and that because we were a "young, trendy, couple" we were being upgraded to their sister hotel round the corner. I'm not sure how it is an upgrade - we were told it's because the rooms are refurbished. The... More

Basic accomodation , but clean and comfortable with a Military Theme to it. This is no 4 star hotel with the frills but you get a good nights sleep and a good continental breakfast in the morning. On our second morning we were leaving at 05:30 and because we had made the lovely lady aware of this on reception a... More

Nice Hotel average Theme is the WW1 & 2 Dark walls in Rooms best Room is 222 large room overlooking the square, breakfast not bad overall if you are going great location Menin Gate is just around the corner. Food expensive around the square but go 2 or 3 streets back and you can get great food at good prices.

This hotel is ideally located, only a few minutes walk from the Menin Gate, which was our main reason for travelling to Ypres. Its just off the main square with the Medieval Cloth Hall and near to a wide variety of bars and restaurants. The lady on reception was very friendly and informative, giving advice on local landmarks, restaurants and... More
