The hotel is located very close to the Flanders Field Museum, and many restaurants/pubs. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the Menin Gate, where they perform the 'Last Post' every night at 8p.m. Included in the hotel price is a lovely buffet breakfast (hot and cold). The breakfast room is huge, more like a galley. The rooms are very... More

Booked this last minute, so glad i did. Cool little war themed hotel with an amazing view of the Grand palace square. Nice breakfast included in the price. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

The reason I chose this hotel is for it's location (10 paces from the market place) and it's parking. By paying 10 euros a day you get to use a locked warehouse which is secure on the other side of the market place, probably 5-6 mins walk from the hotel and you can drop your luggage at the hotel before... Located metres around the corner from the main road and an easy walk to the Menin Gate and shops. Each room is fitted in a military style theme, from the bedside tables to wardrobes and desks. I was a little cramped as I am tall and the ceiling was a sloping style, so I was hitting my head when I got... More

This hotel has a great location just off the main square close to the chafes, bars and restaurants. Also only a short walk to the Menen gate where the last post is held. The hotel had not been booked in advance and check in was a little chaotic as we were initially given a room which had not been cleaned.... More

Nice hotel, nice room...NOISY AS HELL Want to hear breakfast being prepared? Want to hear the bin men? Want to hear everthing going on in the streets? Choose Room 112. There are no carpets in the hotel so all sounds travel well - High heels, doors, talking, hoovers and dishes. Beds are big.

Too soft beds inspite of our early reguest at booking for firm beds. Manager rude and not cooperative to find solution and not willing to accept cancellation for second night without payment after first bad night in bad beds. Room was very small and dark and differed considerably (negatively) from photo's on website. No private parking space at hotel, as... More

The hotel is decorated with an army theme using boxes and tressle tables and other military memorobilia. This is presumably to emphacise the WW1 history of Ypres. Our room was large and very comfortable. It was at the front of the hotel and as the street outside is cobbled there was some road noise during the night but this is... More

It's incredible that a hotel can get so many things wrong. I will attempt to list them all. First of all the receptionist. While she managed to deal with check in efficiently enough from that point on she developed a frosty, couldn't care less attitude. There was a rock concert on in the square, I mentioned that it was noisy... More

My son and I stayed at the Hotel O in May 2014 for 2 nights. My son had the bunk room which was very spacious but no view. I had a double room also with no view but very clean and spacious. A coffee machine in the room was lovely. The reception staff were excellent although we did have to... More
