I can find fault with most things - but our stay here was first class in every way. The attention to detail, the welcome, the room, the facilities, the breakfast, the location - all excellent. Don't hesitate. This puts any other hotel to shame.

Quite simply one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Absolutely faultless - cannot think of a single bad thing even with the most picky/negative hat on. The term "boutique hotel" is over-used but this is a perfect example of what one should be.

My wife and I stayed at the Main Street Hotel for one night in March 2015 whilst we were touring in the area. From the moment we walked through the front door it felt more like we were staying in the beautifully presented home of good friends than in a hotel. We were warmly welcomed, given a welcome drink, told... More

Perfect. However Tripadvisor insist on a minimum of 200 characters so...a lovely hotel, delightfully decorated. A truly warm welcome. Tremendous room, with spa bath and a terrace, and lots of extras. Great breakfast, one of the best I've had. The smell of home baked bread filled the dinning room. Service, second to none. Highly recommend.

I can only agree with all the other comments on here, Main Street is a fabulous hotel. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived; the service, food, room were all excellent and we had a very lovely time indeed. Thank you carine

This hotel is just perfect from the moment you arrive and are greeted like long lost relatives by Carine the proud owner to the dreaded time you have to leave it is just bliss. Carine will say hello with a drink and a smile and give you as much information on Ypres and the surrounding area as you want, she... More

Hello Jan&R.! Thank you for the wonderful review and as much as you enjoyed your stay, I enjoyed your stay too (I guess you noticed?) and am looking forward to meeting you again next year! About the butter game ... here is a clue for future guests reading this; we couldn't play it with milk! Big hugs! xxx More

This was the second time my boyfriend and I stayed at this delightful boutique hotel. The owners we're very welcoming, and so helpful. Parking was opposite and easily accessed. The room we stayed in was immaculate in every sense, clean and sumptuous, (also, the mini bar was included, and trust me, there was everything you could want...including champagne...). The bathroom... More

We stayed in the Main Street Hotel last year and it was a most fantastic and amazing stay. Carine was an amazing host and our every need was catered for, this even included helping us save a long eared bat that had decided to roost just outside our door in the courtyard. Our room "Pottery" was in the courtyard and... More

We had the most perfect two night stay at the unique Main Street Hotel just before Christmas. We could not have received a warmer welcome from Carine who was incredibly helpful and friendly. We had the two top floor rooms which were very different, but wonderfully comfortable and of a five star hotel standard. Little extras like interesting books, an... More

We arrived here from the Vimy Memorial in France and a day that started in Bruges. As Canadians, this town is a must see for WW1 buffs. Of all of the hotels that we picked for our Cities and Battlefields tour, this one was the one that we were most unsure about (smallish town, name that sounded like something from... More
