You will not be disappointed with your stay with Sonia and partner. Made to feel very welcome and a very easy location to find and ideal for the surrounding museums and battlefields. A bit of journey back into Ypres but five minutes drive sees you in the centre of town. We will certainly be returning in the future. Thanks guys... More

Lovely, friendly, inviting, warm B&B with excellent hosts Sonja and Marc. The accommodation is spotless, the location is perfect for Battlefield Trips and the hosts are the most welcoming I have come across in a very long time. The breakfast is also perfect and you will definitely not go hungry!! TOTALLY recommend this B&B to all.

If you have a car STAY HERE! Sonja & Marc are the most attentive, knowledgable and friendly hosts a person could ask for. Nothing is too much trouble, from interesting (and long) but beautiful walks within the area, to the hand marked map of the important memorials & sites of WW1. As a solo female traveller this is without doubt... More

Fantastic! Very friendly owners who cannot do enough for you. It is like staying with family. Rooms very clean and comfortable. First rate facilities. Very filling breakfast and as much as you can eat. If you want anything, just ask. Nothing is too much trouble. I am gluten free, and they ensured that I had freshly baked bread every day.... More

Arrived after a pleasant ride from Dunkirk, was greeted warmly before we had even got off the bike, was offered the garage for the bike, which was much appreciated and shown to a very large clean room with a double and a single bed and ensuite shower room. The house is situated on the menin road, and as others have said... Probably the best B and B I have ever stayed in . Clean the rooms smelled spring fresh, spacious and well cared for. Simple continental breakfast but plenty of it.The owners friendly , speak good English and very helpful.....even brought us a fan for the evening when temps were in mid 30's centigrade. Would definately stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a shower and sink. The shared toilet was down the hall, but was fine in all respects. The proprietors were polite and attentive. The breakfast was average. Overall, La Passarelle is a well-kept B&B that is a good value. No frills, but no complaints.

It was like coming home as my father and I returned to La Passarelle this week! Usual warm welcome from the wonderful Sonja and Marc, rooms as comfortable as ever, slept well and breakfasted royally. All this just a stones-throw from Ypres, with beautiful views. For historians, Marc and Sonja can explain the significance of their location, over former trenches... More

We really enjoyed our stay at La Passerelle over a beautiful early spring weekend. Our room was spacious, comfortable and warm with an en suite shower toilet and basin. In spite of being on a main road there was no traffic noise. The room was equipped with the means to make hot drinks. A nice touch is the provision of... More
