Marc and Sonia are excellent hosts, and their little B&B is fantastic. Clean, tidy, spacious, quiet. Lovely beds, lovely bathroom, cable TV and a wonderful breakfast. Marc kindly dropped us back into town where we had left our car after sampling the Belgian beer the night before. We also joined Marc for drinks and a movie in the living room... More

My friend and I came across this place purely by accident but we were glad we did. Even though the owners had just returned from holiday and we're not actually open they gave us a room and reopened for us. Sonia and her husband are very friendly and very accommodating for you every wish, nothing appears to be too much... More

After four nights at la Passarelle we cannot speak too highly for Sonja and Marc's hospitality. Very warm and friendly with great breakfast including fresh squeezed orange juices neat do home made jam. They even lent bicycles to my son and I to explore the region on the web of delightful farm lanes and roads. Highly recommended if you are... More

Cannot praise our stay enough. Sonja and Marc were fantastic and really made you feel at home. We stayed in La Passarelle for 2 nights and they were fantastic. Very warm and friendly welcome from Sonja. Nothing was too much trouble, they even made space for our motorbike in the garage. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was... More

A home from home. Sonja and Marc could not be more friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. If you want anything, just ask. Within a short walk from several museums and WW1 sites of interest. Very reasonably priced. Rooms very comfortable and much better than you would expect for the price. I cannot praise this B&B highly enough.... More

Back on the Salient again, this time with my father; so where else would I book for the night than La Passarelle? Fantastic welcome from Sonja, and we got to meet Marc this time as well; he gave some good tips for places to visit that I wasn't aware of. Room was immaculate as usual, and the beds very comfortable.... More

We received a warm friendly welcome from Marc and Sonja on our arrival. The room was clean, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a continental feast and we spent an hour chatting and enjoying the view from the picture window. The house is only a few minutes drive from Ypres and we would highly recommend staying here... More

Stayed at La Passarelle in October. Our room was the double with ensuite bathroom on the main floor. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were greeted warmly by Marc and Sonja upon arrival and throughout our stay were provided with plenty of information about WW1 history in the area. Marc is very knowledgeable in this regard. Breakfast was delicious... More

A lovely B&B with great hosts who are full of knowledge of the surrounding area and it's history. Marc and Sonja we're a real friendly couple where nothing seemed to much for them. We stayed there with no transport and they were very happy to lend us their own personal bikes so we could vist all the places we had... More

Quiet, comfortable and really friendly. Marc is very knowledgeable about the WWI history of the area. He and Sonja were perfect hosts. As we'll travel regularly to Northern Germany, we'll need somewhere to stay that is within easy distance of the tunnel. We'll be going back to La Passarelle.
