OK I can't say it's the best because I haven't stayed anywhere else. It's a tiny B&B, only 3 bedrooms, but the quality of the rooms is fantastic, The welcome that you get is wonderful and the breakfast is great (cooked egg of your choice plus meats and cheeses, Belgian breads, fruits, yoghurts......etc). Ine is an excellent host and the... More

Really enjoyed our stay here. Nice location which is family friendly. Ine and Mike were very friendly and knoweldge about the WW1 sites. The food was good and it made for a relaxing setting. Located within easy walking distance of the town centre if you want to have a look around. Would happily stay here again.

Ine and Mike go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. Situated in a quiet but convenient location, 5mins walk from the station, this old Flemish town house has lots of character but is tastefully modernised and comfortable. Ine has four, young children but manages to juggle them around running the B&B such that we... More

We stayed with Ine and Mike for 3 nights at the end of a 16 day trip to Belgium. The arrangements were very easy to make and we exchanged emails regularly before arrival as we wanted to check in early and drop our bags off. We were greeted with a friendly welcome from Ine who speaks perfect English (and French... More

Really friendly nice B&B located within 5 minutes of the central square and 10 minutes of Menin Gate (or you can easily walk around the edge of Ypres if you fancy a more interesting route in). Really easy to park close to the hotel which makes it a great location if you are planning to tour WW1 sites (which we... More

Had a fantastic stay here at the beginning of June. We were a party of 6 so occupied all three rooms. We stayed in the red room which was very comfortable with a lovely large bathroom (it has a very powerful shower attachment but not a stand up shower - this didn't bother us though). We were made so very... More

This is a great place to stay in Ypres. It's within walking distance to the town centre and Menin Gate. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke fluent english. One thing to note and that is, that this is a B&B which means a family reside at the residence. The children are small and wake up early so... More

A warm welcome with local beers and an explanation of the location of all the WW1 sites in the town and recommendations for organised tours. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and fresh coffee. Parking outside the B&B is free when you can find a space.

Everything about De Nacht Wacht was perfect, Ine & Mike the owners were excellent hosts with a very charming family. The location is great for seeing all the sights in Ypres and is within an easy ten minute or so walk to the Cloth Hall and a further 5 minutes to the Menin Gate. We stayed four nights and parking... This stay was a real pleasure, more like being a guest in a family home than in a B&B. Lovely quiet location ten minutes' walk from the Menin Gate and 5 minutes from the railway/bus station. The room was immaculately clean and very nicely decorated, all the things worked and the heating was first rate. Excellent breakfast, everything good quality... More
