Nicely located in the centre of Ieper, it is close the Menin Gate and the Museum and the various bars and restaurants around. The rooms were clean & comfortable and there was plenty of breakfast served between 8 & 10am There is free wifi which is very handy The stairs is for the sure footed but overall you could do... This hotel is close to the Grand Place...you can park here or outside the hotel but you need to time your visit. After 6 you have until 9 next day. The street is quiet and the welcome very good. The rooms are motel style, off a corridor and ground floor. Perfectly fine. There is a small bar, and the Trappist... More

It is a small hotel in the very centre of Ypres, only 5 min walking distance from the Menin Gate or the "In Flanders Fields Museum). The rooms are very tidy and modern. The restaurant is in a beatifull, old setting. Breakfast offers everything you need except bacon & eggs or scrambled eggs.

We arrived in Ypres before check-in time so that we could catch the Flanders Fields Museum, a very close walk from the hotel. Not expecting to check-in, we merely wished to leave our bags. However when we arrived we found that the hotel was unlocked and no one was on staff. When we called the listed phone number, we were... More

I stayed with group in December and was surprised at check in when the whole lobby smelled of sewage. The desk staff did not seem to notice and this was a worry as the lobby toilet is right outside the restaurant. Upstairs the rooms did not seem to smell but our room had all the windows open, which we shut... More

Situated perfectly near the centre yet very quiet. The rooms are a tad on the small side but very comfortable, they could do with carpet in the main room when it is cold outside. The staff all spoke English and are very helpful. The breakfast is very good with a choice you will not starve.

Clean and tidy, warm room, comfy bed, classic European look in public areas, friendly staff Free parking a 15 minute walk away free from 6 pm sat till Monday morning Only complaint was the large group of noisy northerners, everyone else was civilised!!

This was a cozy little B&B and in close proximity of the historical centre of town with the In Flanders Field Museum only a short 2 minute walk away. The breakfast was adequate. However, the rooms were a bit small.

The Alliance is well situated, clean and friendly but expensive for what it offers. The rooms were adequate for a father and son visit but I would have been disappointed if I had gone here with my wife.

Stayed at this hotel overnight on 27th October. We arrived early after travelling from Calais. Check in time is from 16.00. The lady who was looking after the hotel was on her own and was busy trying to get rooms ready for guests arriving that afternoon. Despite this, she was very helpful and did her best to allow us to... More
