I will keep this short...just like our stay! What started as a polite enquiry about noise outside ended up switching to an episode out of 'Fawlty Towers'. The staff were rude, insulting and totally unprofessional. The imbecile Fréderic Vanlede refused to identify himself, the owner refused to say who he was and no doubt this is because they realised they... More

I agree with LordHafod in the entirety. I was afforded a nice room on floor four. Spacious and newly renovated.immaculate. Station about seven minutes walk, with frequent trains to Lille (Rijsel), Ieper, and all over Belgium. Day ticket on Belgian Railways for pensioners over 60 cost 6 Euros day return, available after 9.00 am weekdays to anywhere in Belgium. Unbelievable... More

Visiting Mons and Ypres to visit WW1 battlefields, decided to stay in Kortrijk. Stayed in Ypres many times, so this was a change. Pleased I did. Ypres is swamped at the moment with tourists/visitors for WW1 commemorations. The hotel, is in the Market Square, with plenty of restaurants, bars in the area but found no noise problems at all. The... More

This was the 2nd time I had stayed here on business. The rooms are clean although vary greatly in size, both have been adequate. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff helpful, although we were the only diners in the evening in the restaurant we felt a little awkward and rushed. Superb central location by the square, so close to shops and many... More

Good 3* hotel in the centre of Kortrijk. Some rooms are renovated, some not, but all rooms are clean. Breakfast could be better, but you can always find something to your taste. Quite good for its price overall.

The hotel is situated at the big market square. The room which I had was not really big. But that's not what I'm looking for. All things which I needed for my comfort were there. The internet is for free. The heating is easily to adjust on the elements it selfs. There is a mini bar for the comfort. I... More

The hotel room was quite small, although adequate, but when the bathroom door was opened there was a strong sewerage smell. The hotel is situated on the corner of a large square with several restaurants around it, which was fortunate as the hotel had let both chefs have the day off and the hotel restaurant was therefore closed. Excellent secure... More

I was fortunate to pick this wonderful hotel, for a long business trip in June/July 2010 and found the Owners and Staff very friendly and helpful. The Hotel itself is "Grand" without being "Pompous". It is clean, warm and well maintained, with lots of character. The good people who work there are courteous and professional and made me feel very,... More

Stayed here for one night, and was disappointed. When we first entered the room it looked very modern, stylish, but it was tiny. The double bed was small, and too bouncy for 2 people to comfortably sleep on. There was just one pillow on the bed, I looked inside the wardrobe to see if there was another pillow. There was...
